You need to teach Jiayi how to do some dance moves too so he can have some fun too. You two should look into salsa and swing dancing. Maybe learn it in your home first. There should be groups who do it for fun at a park or public square in China. It would be a lot of fun to dance with each other only. Dancing with others is not a good idea. Very impressed with your cooking.

The key to enjoying the cold is to wear layers, e.g. long johns that are moisture wicking. Also a toque (hat), one of those neck gators that cover your nose and mouth, wool socks, warm & comfortable boots with good traction, a good pair of mitts (rather than gloves) and a windproof jacket with a hoodie. The way I look when I'm dressed for the cold won't win any fashion show but I'm toasty warm. p.s. my winter gear is sports clothing. It's no fun having just a part of your body cold, e.g. cold fingers while the rest of your body is warm.

I also hate cold, visited Hangzhou in January and yeah it was freezing cold. Maybe you can try Guangdong GZ SZ ZH, Xiamen or Kunming. For me, I love Xiamen and Kunming. Xiamen will never too cold and has beaches. But I love Kunming more, spring all the time, amazing scenery all of Yunnan, and a lot of beautiful ethnic minorities. Cheers. Damn, I missed Kunming already.

@@jiayiandjulieinchina same same , i don’t like under 10 C weather, I don’t like the heater at home while I was living in London. The heater or warmer made the spaces very dry and I always woke up in midnight in winter to drink water. Hahahaha!
@@jiayiandjulieinchina I come from Heilongjiang, China. Now I live in Guangdong. To be honest, I like cold weather. I especially like extreme cold currents. When I was a child, I liked it very much. In winter, I hope that the temperature can reach less than -30 degrees Celsius. The heat in Guangdong is a kind of torture for me. Every summer vacation, I go to the north to escape the summer heat.

@@jiayiandjulieinchina I live in Sweden but most swedes don't like ducks. Been in Sweden, 37 years and turned 40 yr 1 week ago. My ethnicity is Chinese. Came with my folks from China. Had a few Swedish girlfriend but they never like ducks when they visited my folks home. Ducks is the best. You have found a really kind and handsome Chinese wish you both luck and. If you don’t like the cold Xiamen in Fujian would be the perfect place to stay with its unique architecture and fantastic food. Besides it near the sea where you could enjoy the beautiful beaches and scenery.
