    OMGosh if I could jump through my computer and hug you I would. Thank you for sharing this video with us. I am currently in the process of having a 'studio' built in our lower level so I can organize all my crafting supplies so your timing is impeccable. you continue to inspire me. Thanks again. Cheers

    Wow what a great transformation. That’s a lovely guest room. I’m just finishing up my hillside cardigan only have a few inches of the last sleeve. I’ve been knitting for years but never made a sweater because I didn’t feel like I could fit it to my small frame. I’m 5’1” but I’m not super skinny, probably slightly heavier than you. I’m also almost finished the body of the winter bluff sweater and just ordered my yarn for the pink wildflowers cardigan. Hope they fit. You should sell your patterns rather as they are so well written and I’m sure people would buy them.

      oh thanks so much for sharing all of the projects you're working on. Makes me so happy to know you're working on all of these things! Yes, some of my patterns are paid patterns and a lot are free.... I'm currently working on re-writing a lot of them for worsted weight yarn and those will be paid. This past year and a half has been about building up my follower base and I hope to start working on monetizing everything a little more so I don't burn out! 🤣♥️

    You need a yarn winder and a swift. I used a 40% off coupon at Michaels. I’m practicing frogging a half knit sweater using them as well as combining two yarns. Making center pull cakes from skeins and banks has been fabulous!

      I know -- I always hand wind everything! Probably not the most efficient use of my time. I used to have a ball winder but it broke in our move!

    Fun video! It’s always fascinating to see other people’s stashes. One question… how is it that you don’t own any hand dyed yarn? 🤣

      Haha! I do…. Don’t think you could easily see it!!

    Amazing stash. Great job organizing it alone. I bet it took a lot of work. I have an old high v neck sweater I don’t fit in anymore. Would love to combine your open trails vest and add a small v neck. Is it possible to combine right after the decrease rows?

      I would think so -- hard for me to tell without seeing it but I would just try some things and see what works! Hope it goes well!

    You have a beautiful house. I'm trying to use up my stash by making hats. I'm almost finished with the cable cardigan I bought on your website but I don't know how to block it yet.

    • @AshleyLillisKnits
      @AshleyLillisKnits  ปีที่แล้ว

      thanks so much! Good idea to use up your stash with hats. If you used the same yarn I did, you can try steam blocking it! th-cam.com/video/RVCSCA6iysQ/w-d-xo.html

    I would really like to make one of your cardigans but I want to make it 4 weight yarn instead of bulky. How would I convert your bulky pattern to 4 weight? I’ve your sweater conversion but I don’t understand how I can convert the cardigan using it.

    • @AshleyLillisKnits
      @AshleyLillisKnits  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi there -- it all depends on which one you're trying to make. Also, I'm working on coming out with worsted weight versions of a lot of my patterns at the moment so stay tuned!

    • @heatherscountrycrochet1986
      @heatherscountrycrochet1986 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AshleyLillisKnits the one I was trying to make is like the beginner one. I think it’s called the simple cardigan or something like that. But I will definitely be staying tuned. I really like your patterns. I’m new to knitting and your patterns are easy to follow.
