    I know this is an older video of yours, I've commented before to some of your newer ones and have binged-watched alot of your back log over the past few months. I'm a new knitter, but I also have many "crafty rabbit holes" too. I went back to re-watch this one to get a better look at your butterfly print because I also do needlepoint, cross stitch and embroidery and I am currently designing a similar butterfly piece for myself in cross stitch because I liked your print so much. Thanks for giving us a good look at it!

    Loved it. It looks very spacious, which I really love. My craft room is so small. You may already know this, but all Diet Drinks are sweetened with neurotoxins, not to mention they rot your molars out. Don't ask how I know. All I will say is my dentist financed a new wing on his house, compliments of yours truly. I did finally give them up about 10 years ago. The only soft drink I will touch, which isn't often, is Coke Life. It is sweetened with Stevia and sugar. No HFCS, which is another nightmare. Now I'm rambling, great video.

    Super jealous that you have a designated craft room. That’s my dream. I keep all my things in an outside storage closet. I purchased 20 clear plastic shoe boxes to organize all my things (zippers, lace/trim, cutting tools, buttons/fasteners, glue, paintbrushes, etc.). I print labels from my computer and attached with glue dots. Now everything is easy to find.

    Our 12 year old Cat is named Bella too and my daughter and I (19 now only 7 when we got her) have come across so many other people online n irl who also have pets (mostly cats but some dogs lol) named Bella. I think it's just a cute little coincidence when we come across another kitty named Bella. Her full name is Bella Donna Wolfe. That's my kids last name.
    Oh and BLACK CHERRY MERLOT IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE CANDLE FROM BNBW!! ALL TIME FAVE FRAGRANCE PERIOD NOW THAT THEY CARRY IT IN THEIR FULL LINE OF SPRAYS,LOTIONS AND BODY WASHES AS WELL! Damn is like ur my soul sister. Except the only thing I have yarn for ( in the same fabric totes too I might add lol) is for making dream catchers and mini beanie Garland for my daughter and other mini beanie projects for her and for general purpose crafting. Other than that I can not sew, crochet, knit etc for the life of me. I don't have the patience lol

    Thank you for sharing your beautiful room. Your color scheme is quite beautiful and subtle. Headless Edith is dressed so well.
    I fold my fabric into 9” x11ish” sections which fit easily into the cubby boxes that you have. I fold fabric selvedge to selvedge, then in half to the selvedge again. Then I wrap it onto a 9” acrylic ruler. Did my entire quilt stash that way and sort by color. Took a month and 72 bins to do. Been perfect ever since. I make labels for the color in each bin from scrap book paper. I do this for yarn as well so that I can sort by needle size (sock 2.0mm, sport 4mm, worsted 5mm, etc.).

    I joked with my boyfriend that I wanted a craft corner - however even after over a year, I still don't think he knows what he's in for even though he's always seen me crafting. Haha if you're looking for a buyer for the loom, I'm in Bed Stuy and would happily do local pickup ;D (but no worries if there's other plans for it :D)

    I recently did some reorganization of my kallax units and discovered that bankers boxes fit those cubbies! Super excited about that because any yarn storage (especially yarn) need to be enclosed because of bugs. There's a gap at the top (15" x 13" x 11" to fit a 15" x 13" × 13" cubby hole), but I found Aesthetic ones from Staples, so into my cart they went. It might be a solution if you need to sort paper stuff in the cubbies later. 👍
    Also, totally wrap your fabric around foam board or cardboard so that you can stand your fabric up like books. Life changing.

    • @Voolenvine
      @Voolenvine  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh, awesome! thanks for the tips, Adrian. I may get a few bankers boxes. TBH, I'm not too crazy about the fabric boxes because they attract so much lint and cat hair! 😂 And YESS! I've got plenty of cardboard boxes to cut up. Weekend project, anyone?? 💖

    Thank you so much for sharing, I have always loved how put together your craft room is. The aesthetic is just so perfect. You have inspired me to get shy sh**t organized again. We moved to our very first house last year and I have been looking for an armoire, or big china cabinet or something with glass doors for my yarn to have a home, but it lives in Sterilite boxes right now. I know that Ikea still has a line like that but it looks too modern. I like buying my craft room furniture second hand
