    80% equities 20% cash. I plan to take advantage of the s&p 500 as leading indicators predict above 10% rise by this year, my only issue is how to properly allocate $1m into a large stock/bond portfolio for substantial gains at minimum risk.

      Agreed, my portfolio is well-matched for every market season yielding 85% from early last year to date. I and my advisr are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal, tho this could take another year. IMO, financial advisors are the most sought-after professionals after doctors.

      I took charge of my portfolio but faced losses in 2022. Realizing the need for a change, I sought advice from a fiduciary advisor. Through restructuring and diversification with dividend stocks, ETFs, Mutual funds, and REITs, my $1.2M portfolio surged, yielding an annualized gain of 28%.

    The market trend can turn around very quickly. In fact, the indexes often switch from a bear market to a bull market when the news is at its worst and the mood of investors is at its lowest point. Yes, truly, investing in the market, even if it's just the S&P 500, can keep up with inflation, because the growth rate of stocks will always exceed the inflation rate. But if you don't have the courage, you could just invest with a financial advisor, which even has greater return on investments, while securing your investment against losses.

    • @Mrshuster
      @Mrshuster 2 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Keeping money in the bank is like paying banks and the Govemment. Here's how it works: The bank gives out your money as loan, and charge interest obviously higher than inflation rate, and then give you, the depositor, interest lower than inflation rate. That means net loss for you. That is why I prefer to invest, and on average, my advisor makes returns that always beats inflation!

      @@beachknc218 Of course I have been waiting for your angle. You expect me to respond by posting more correct stock, indices or bitcoin forecasts so you can profit from my excellence. A nice try!!! Now go and chew on your anal sphincter muscle.

      @@beachknc218 Like someone would come online then post dozens of real time forecasts with incredibly tight stop losses, huge RR and double digit expected returns if they were full of BS.
      Who else could have forecast the 30 year T-Bond move from 105 to +120 or the WTI oil move down from 95 or the Bitcoin move from 25K to 50K? The list goes on and on.
      However, we now live in the Twilight Zone where people prefer to expend 100 units of effort for 1 unit of return, that is, my public forecasts could have more than generated the cash flow necessary for a medium sized hedge fund or financial broadcaster to acquire me. Instead, we are here playing silly gaslighting games while converting goodwill into negative will and eliminating trust.

    The dilemma of "higher interest rate leads to expensive borrowing leads to slow economic growth" and vice versa makes it difficult to manoeuvre economic parameters. Yet the stock market isn't showing any sign of slowdown caused by a recession outlook. Investing now instead of saving would make thousands of dollars in ROI if done right.

      I don't agree it is a real dilemma. These parameters are tweakable can be effectively done to preserve economy while growing the economy. I do agree, though, that the market is rising hell. Heck, I've grown more than 70k this earnings call season.

      Will it trend up, trend down or consolidate between now and the end of the year? I've updated my 2024 forecasts (unpublished ) so time will tell but obviously some will be left with egg on their face.

    Thanks for the update and keep doing what you do. My journey in the current market has taught me a lot of lessons, at the top of that list is that it never pays to live above one's means. I have managed to grow a nest egg of around $600k to a decent 7 figures in the space of a few months. Sad to say but a lot of us have poor money management skills. My 2 cents -get an advisor to keep you accountable and aid you make better decisions, Linda Wilburn has been helping me a lot, all through my journey. I find it better to pay a little bit more for peace of mind than worry about money or market trends and still get >burned.
