The problem we have is because Most people always taught that " you only need a good job to become rich " . These billionaires are operating on a whole other playbook that many don't even know exists.

Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others. As an investor, you should've known that by now that nothing beats experience and that's final. Personally I had to reach out to a stock expert for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to $35k, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I'm buying again.

These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $89k now to put in the market.

David: "If somebody said to you, what is the most common investment mistake that the average person makes, what would you say?"
    Howard: "Can I do 2?
Number 1: People believe in the ability to predict the future, either their ability or others that they can identify. In general, I agree with John Kenneth Galbraith, who said: there are two types of forecasters, the ones who don't know and the ones who don't know they don't know. In general, I think the average person has to learn that they don't know what the future holds and nobody knows either
Number 2: People believe that there has to be a direct and mechanical linkage, if the company has a good event, the securities do well, if they have a bad event, the securities do poorly but that's not the case, because there is an intermediate step, which is people's reaction, it's not just whether the event was positive, it's how people reacted to the event, that determines the impact on the security prices. So you can't forget the psychological and human factors."

That is not necessarily the case. In the credit investing space, as long as the company is in a solid cash flow position, you should do well. For equities, it's mostly about analyst (or investor) expectations. If the company delivers good financial results but falls below expectations, that can lead to poor equity performance.
