I just realized that there’s parts where he says he instead of I (i.e. he loved you) and it’s like he’s fighting with the other person inside of him (Mito) and moments where he says he instead of I is Mito kinda taking over as Christian is trying to “fight him off” in a way

It does sound like he's trying to convince himself that he's fine, but it's not working. The album is amazing, you should def check it out. As far as the story goes, you should check out the documentary he dropped it explains everything.

I never really listened to indie music before but man I have been loving these releases from Christian. His style is so different from what I normally listen to but it’s just so addicting. He has his own lane and I’m here for it.
And his videos r so calming to me for some reason especially this one. I felt like I was watching travel vlogs you would see on Instagram. And the effect on his voice when he sings getting nervous sounds so good.

i'm late with this comment lol but hearing this song reminded me SO much of indie british rock! idk if you've ever heard of catfish and the bottlemen, but their song kathleen has the same vibe and i couldn't listen to nerves without having to listen to kathleen right after, both of them have that nostalgic sound. i would also say i wait by day6 fits this very specific vibe to make a perfect trifecta

Ok I have a theory that MITO ate the girl. If you look at the closeup on his mouth, there’s blood around and the lyrics about the girl going outta town but it might not matter now. Another lyric said He loved you, so maybe that was MITO talking🤔 maybe she was tryna leave and MITO came out and killed her. Maybe I’m just trippin.
