I've got to say, if I could get my hands on a 4Runner for the prices you pay in the US, I don't think I'd look twice at the 300 (I do still love the 300 though).
I got a Prado and I'm thinking to upgrade to a 300 GX, wondering what wheels you got? They looks fantastic..... What is the wheels offset? They sit perfectly with fenders... Also have Tanami X11 which should be fine with 300... but I installed airbags on the back prado to make it level, so far, does the 300 sits flat when towing the X15? Thanks for your help...
The wheels are King Wheel Daytona Euro 18x8 +35. The stock suspension sat almost exactly level with the van hooked up. We've since installed a lift and now it sits a fair bit higher in the rear.
How do you find the room in the back for your kids, it’s our biggest gripe about deciding what to go with Toyota or Nissan. Can’t justify the 20yr old interior in a modern car with Nissan.
It works great for us, but we've only got a toddler and we've never really used a pram/stroller so haven't missed the space. The Patrol didn't make our list of options specifically because of the interior.
They are fantastic vehicles but sadly there is definitely a badge tax on these cars. The Prado does most of what the 300 does and is a strong contender if you aren't doing heavy towing.
Thanks! We thoroughly washed it down and let it dry but the problem persisted. In the end it needed a visit to a local Toyota dealer, discussions between the dealer and Toyota Australia, and individually resetting a number of subsystems before the error cleared. Thankfully no limp mode with the issue and we completed most of the track with the errors staring me in the face. Tyres are Falken Wildpeak A/T 285/65R18
I have very limited experience with the 200 Series, so can't say where I land on the comparison, but from what I have experienced, they aren't lightyears apart.
Man I would love to have that LC here in the US. We only get the 200 series with a V8 that gets 12 mpg (~19L/100km)

Yea but you guys get the 5.7 v8 petrol while we get the 4.7 petrol!!.
This is why I have cancelled my order for a 300 series to replace my 2018 200 series
I will keep my 200 series as long as possible

Are they to toyota rims upgrade?
Looks awesome
Thanks! They're aftermarket King Wheel Daytona Euro wheels (not a Toyota offering).
Sweet ride… too bad they’re so expensive 😢

Nice track/beaches. What became of your Xmas tree dash lights? Problem go away when things dried out?
Also - what size tyres are you running?
Thanks

What tyres are on the car?
They are Falken Wildpeak A/T tyres
Hi there, in your opinion do you think that the new LC300 is by far better than the LC200 in terms of reliability, quality and comfort?
I have very limited experience with the 200 Series, so can't say where I land on the comparison, but from what I have experienced, they aren't lightyears apart.
@@ImpalaOverland Fair enough, thank you for the good content!
What about a Patrol?
We did consider the Patrol initially but the aged interior and lack of a diesel option ruled it out.
Hi Mate
What size rims are they? 18s?
Yes, 18s with 33 inch tyres. I was quite worried about the sidewall being insufficient on the 18s but haven't had any issues so far.
