Please explain why a company like PivotEnergy doesn't just sell the energy from their solar gardens as a wholesale energy provider to the utility company. If PivotEnergy can finance, build, insure, and manage their solar gardens at 10% less cost, it would be much less complicated to offer the utility company a competitively lower wholesale price for Pivot's energy, and then that utility company would be permitted by the PUC to funnel that reduced cost to all customers through a rate decrease. Thanks for explaining things.

So just signed up for Acadia for community solar And they said I would save 5 percent on my bill I live in New York and the info said my solar charge would be taking out of my credits is this true thanks

Maintenance : If you have a problem with your Solar System you might have to call a roof guy, an electrician, a plumber, and of course the Solar System expert ....It's more than complicated ,of course

Excited to hear that you are signed up for community solar! The specific answer depends on where you are located and the community solar provider you are contracted with. In most cases, you will receive two bills: your regular utility bill with the community solar credits and a bill from your community solar provider.
