How to hear the hidden beat in Radiohead's "Videotape"

- For years, I thought that "Videotape" was one of Radiohead's most boring songs... a monotonous dirge that just drones on for almost 5 minutes. 1...2...3...4... 1...2...3...4... 1...2...3...4... etc. etc. etc...
WARRENMUSIC's video, The Hidden Syncopation of Radiohead's "Videotape" • The Hidden Syncopation... opened up my mind and blew me away. I realized that I've literally been listening to a completely different song than the one the band is playing. Since then I've listened to the studio track countless times, struggling to hear the syncopated rhythms as the band hears them while playing the song. Sometimes I can just barely hear it, and sometimes it's just out of reach. Often, I just can't hear it at all and I'm back to the same boring song I thought I was listening to for a decade or so.
I decided to make a simple beat and sync it to the track so that I can hear the "correct" version of the song any time I want to. Hopefully this helps shed some light on the amazing talent and creativity behind Radiohead's music.

I used to love radio head but started sleeping on them for a few years. What the hell was I thinking. I’ve been studying rhythms and so I looked up this song. These lyrics just put me on my ass. What an amazing tune.
Wow. This video popped up in my recommended the other day and it sent me down a rabbit hole that I don't think I can ever unhear. I always thought the bpm was half of what it actually is; and I'm sure that's what most people think too. It is crazy that they decided to just remove the backbone of the song like that. Actually nuts. Bonkers. Thank you for giving me an entirely different outlook on this song that I don't think I would've known about.

Part of me wishes i never noticed the syncopated piano, drives me nuts.

Great job! I hate to be this guy, but... The up-beat and down-beat are swapped places. You could check out the mix by Mojo Kid for the correct version. But this one sounds cool too!
3:43 thru the end of the track you can hear the real snare from the original track, and its backbeat lines up perfectly with this version, yes?
