I'm a paprika, terracotta person big time..And now I'm a peach person too as long as it's blended into the paprika just as you have done it. The paper is to die for. Just gorgeous. I wasn't sure at first if the birds were hummingbirds, then I saw the one with its beak in that beautiful lily. You turned that poor piece of trash (except for the perfect handles, the sort of which I never find here) and turned it into a stunning, elegant piece of furniture that would be a standout anywhere. I have a million questions. I'll drive you crazy Thursday night😅😅😅. Marty, the music was glorious for this piece. Thank you both so much for this tutorial. I learned a heap. I have the Acanthus mould, but not the one with the little pomegranates.I'm a little too heavily invested in moulds, a couple of which are pretty similar. Love you both. Lel, like I said the other day: Get a Hazmat suit for when Poppy's around. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

These are my colors . I wouldn't have thought to add peach ; not a favorite of mine. Mixing it with the Paprika❤makes a huge difference. I do have a similar piece of furniture, but the handles and the surrounds of the key holes create a problem. I don't think they can be removed. I'd have to tear the paper to smithereens. My anxiety level rises when I watch you do it. I don't know what would/will happen to me when I rip it up It'll feel like a sacrilege .

Learned about drawer tabs with tape 🙌🏻, drying molds on plastic or cardboard 🙌🏻, another way to paint in decoupage paper 🙌🏻, the list goes on. You guys are the best and I’m sorry you again have “kiddie Krud” but that means you are great grandparents! My mom wanted nothing to do with my kids when they were sick ( which was always of course). Wow this is just amazing! I love how it came out. Your new line of papers are beautiful! I think I am going to order the one with butterflies on it. It reminds me of my mom. She passed away in 2014. Ok! I have assembled some supplies since discovering your channel a few weeks ago. I have a handicapped daughter so boxes overcome my home quite frequently! So I’ve got a few very sturdy ones that are going to be my practice canvas. My goal this year is to completely renovare her very kind of sterile hospital room into a beautiful yet functioning space! Cant wait for that texture video! Oh yeah I got those squeeze things lol from Amazon they are amazing! Lol thank you yes ! I have 2 ikea cabinets in her room and I must change them but they are practical but I’m worried because they are so slick…. Can’t wait

I wish I could have 1/4 of your imagination in how to pull things together. I struggle to start. So I am just going to start a piece and copy your Indian bookcase video and the camel video. I do love the color of this dresser and know that it is unusual for you to work with this color pallet. A scrumptious piece in all regards. Realized that you added that dark green highlight around your moulds after the fact. Nice. I do like this paper, and it certainly works well with your color choices, but I would love for you to offer that mermaid paper that you designed for a piece a while back. Haven't seen any decoupage papers with mermaids that i really liked, but I love the one you used. I imagine this piece will sell quickly, if it isn't already on it's way to a lucky customer. What colors sell best in Scotland??? I don't imagine pastels are very popular? Although lighter and bright, this piece does not strike me as pastel. Sorry to know that you & Martyn are 'under-the-weather AGAIN! I just got over a bout of COVID. So very lucky it was a mild case and passed quickly, although I'm still sluggish and stuffed up... I'm so sorry to hear that you have covid sydni, poor you I've not had it but I know from others that it's exhausting. Yes I did after I had filmed it go back with the green but I had finished filming by then. You have an eagle eye, it jyst needed a shadow. No pastels do not sell for me or indeed even white, I'm known for bright and loud and crazy furniture. So I have not listed this yet but I am wondering if it will sell quick or take ages. I can never tell. Yes we caught another Bug from poppy ha ha ha We are getting better now though. Lel x

Hi Mel, just some useless info. Bentonite clay was marketed as fullers earth years ago. It was used for babies bums when they had a rash. I currently use it under my arms and other crevices that tend to perspire (too much info) lol. Yes it is cheap and i also use it in my crafts.
Oh yes we are totally a team.... Its great working with marty as he's very entertaining ha ha And we have different strengths... I am Chaos he is calm... It works brilliantly and he's brilliant at cleaning up my mess, I never know where to start x

Love the papers. Love the piece. We went to a NT property and they had a ceiling covered in similar moulds. If you open your clay and you don't use it all how do you store it.
I pop mine in a zip lock bag and then pop it in a plastic container.... If you think it's drying out pop a wet wipe in the bag with the clay it will keep it moist x x

Is there any plum or burgundy in the decoupage paper? I'm think that plum might mix with the paprika.

I do love the color of this dresser and know that it is unusual for you to work with this color pallet. A scrumptious piece in all regards. Realized that you added that dark green highlight around your moulds after the fact. Nice. I do like this paper, and it certainly works well with your color choices, but I would love for you to offer that mermaid paper that you designed for a piece a while back. Haven't seen any decoupage papers with mermaids that i really liked, but I love the one you used. I imagine this piece will sell quickly, if it isn't already on it's way to a lucky customer. What colors sell best in Scotland??? I don't imagine pastels are very popular? Although lighter and bright, this piece does not strike me as pastel. Sorry to know that you & Martyn are 'under-the-weather AGAIN! I just got over a bout of COVID. So very lucky it was a mild case and passed quickly, although I'm still sluggish and stuffed up... Yes I did after I had filmed it go back with the green but I had finished filming by then. You have an eagle eye, it jyst needed a shadow.
No pastels do not sell for me or indeed even white, I'm known for bright and loud and crazy furniture. So I have not listed this yet but I am wondering if it will sell quick or take ages. I can never tell.

Beautiful!, luv the combination of everything you set up for this piece. Wished I would have thought about using a piping bag for glue before I made 300+ resin molds for my last furniture piece! I posted a pic on the clan page. Once again great job on the instruction for this one. Xxoo

I want to ask about the squeezie bottles? Also, about the polish/ polyurethane finish...flat surface polish, spray polyurethane finish? Is it necessary. Maybe members' evening, which I keep missing. I'll get there...love this piece and youare a furniture artist. You take the mundane and create a work of art.
I aalso want to know about those squeeze bottles used for paints. Once I open a can the paint dries out so quickly, it is a problem.

Hi Mel, just some useless info. Bentonite clay was marketed as fullers earth years ago. It was used for babies bums when they had a rash. I currently use it under my arms and other crevices that tend to perspire (too much info) lol. Yes it is cheap and i also use it in my crafts.
Many uses and your right the price is great, much cheaper than all those fancy texture mediums x x

Love the papers. Love the piece. We went to a NT property and they had a ceiling covered in similar moulds. If you open your clay and you don't use it all how do you store it.
I pop mine in a zip lock bag and then pop it in a plastic container.... If you think it's drying out pop a wet wipe in the bag with the clay it will keep it moist x x
