This is the Guardian Sword from Zelda, Breath of the Wild. It’s fully 3D Printed and has a ton of NeoPixel LEDs. This thing is super bright and looks so awesome!
The blade is designed in Fusion 360 using reference images from the game. Its designed to be 3D printed in several pieces and connected together using screws.
The sword is pretty massive, it’s about 34in in length and has over 90 NeoPixels.
Once I got it in the game, the first thing I thought was, wow this is so cool, I have to make it!

CrazyE that's a huge problem for me though. I don't like using them for that reason.
I love that I just finished the video where he made the guardian shield and the sword just broke.

Another project that goes to my list of favorites, congratulations for the great work. Taking advantage of the gaming climate, Bethesda's new game, Prey, has several interesting items that would make great projects like the Psychoscope, the oxygen mask of Transtar's uniform, the medical kit and the guns of the game, I'd love to see you guys do some them or another item of the game.

bruh... thank you so much for sharing this as i was unsure of how to mount my PCB to a 3D print. i was going to add a nut on the other end to hold a bolt in place but seeing that you can just screw a regular screw in changes a lot :)

Wonder how it would look with a blue transparent filament for the blade. Should get that more vibrant blue when lit up and it would still look like the sword even when powered down.
