- Produced in 2013 for ITV, this documentary tells the stories of three young adults who were born in Romania and spent their early years in large-scale institutions. These young adults were later adopted by familes in the UK. The documentary explores their journeys to finding their birth families in Romania.
Understandably, it may not have been an option, but it would've been wonderful for Nickie to have met her now-adult brother, Allin. It was wonderful to see how thrilled her 94-year old grandfather was to have been reunited with her. Best wishes to all
Yes Tatiana underestimated how much us Romanians are in tune with our emotional state by nature. Our culture is getting modernised by the minute but we still remain largely as a family oriented society where family is everything.
It was common to have large families before 89 when the communist regime ended.
