2006 ve ss here, I'm an old bloke, i didn't realise the head unit came off. Been having issues with the radio, cd player and fan for years. I disconnect battery each time but doesn't always work. I popped off head unit just now, cleaned nothing, and turned accessories on and it's all working... I don't know for how long but it works . Thanks heaps. Like and subbd...😊
Hey mate would you have any idea on how to fix the clips that hold the stereo on the omega facia 1 stereo I brought my 2008 model one and the previous owners broke the clips on it

My 2008 VE Omega screen is totally blackout along with Facia lights, half of the cluster RPM light, and the centre KM reading light is also dimmed. AC is working but does not know of the operation. This occurred after removing the battery for a few days. But if I removed the BCM Logic fuse then disconnect the battery and reconnected the screen came back in action but all power windows are not working. When I put back the BCM Logic fuse the screen became blackout again but all power windows return to action. I supplied the power separately to the window fuse while the BCM logic fuse was removed - then both radio LCD screen and power windows are working but the wiper, high beam and cruise control are not working and it became toggle. Please assist and highly appreciated your help.
2012 ve series 2. I have no signal going to the pressure solenoid on the back of the compressor. So air compressor will not work. Could the sound system be the issue?? Any ideas thanks
I have sv6 2007 the original std stereo out of the blue got data mismatch on the screen not worked ever since but once ever 3-4 months it will come on when you start the car and stay on for that trip but when you restart its off again for another 3-4 months if you do the ( asm >> pwr ) button press the radio works for 1 minute could it be a bad connection or bcm issue need any help to fix
How can I permanently bypass the security lockout?, I don’t have the module for the same car, but I have one for my car, they are similar modules, but I need to reprogram the same radio to work with my car. Can you help?

man you the best, my dvd player inthe 2006 holden calais plays dvd movie but no picture on front or rear screens . everything else works fine sat nav good radio good but no dvd, can you help me im in sydney, i can come to you.. cheers
For this Holden VE you do not enter code like "normal" stereo however it use the 6 VIN number of your car by programming the stereo or using scanner from the Holden service department.let me know if you want to program by yourself.
They have internal faults in them ,well known by Holden from 2006 onwards , they are faulty factory units , they are cheap crap , Holden replaced them no charge ,from 2006 , as on my ssv , your method won’t solve the problem permanently , I ended up replacing my head unit when the 3 rd one started to fail with an alpine , problem solved for good 🤪🤪🤪🤪

yes it can.try to turn everything off and closing all doors while sitting in the car and listen any noises from CD mechanism.
