Question for y’all: If both the previous school and the new school recognize stripes. Should/do the profesor of the new school respect those stripes or do you start from 0 again? Thanks
In our opinion yes.!! We believe if you come with stripes to a new academy you have earned them. No one can deny your hard work. Also in our humble opinion no other instructor should “demote” or not recognize a student stripes. Now in your “new academy “ you don’t meet the standards of that academy white belt 3 stripes,blue belt, purple belt etc.. then it’s ok for “new instructor “ told not promote until you reach new academy standards
