    I’m tired of people feeling sorry for Fiona Harvey. If she was a man doing this, people would be outraged. She’s a dangerous stalker. All Laura Wray did was try to help her and she tried to destroy her life!

      @@Ccamero123 I don’t know. Never underestimate the ‘devil’s advocate’ mentality in people who choose to empathise with the person who committed the SA. I always think of the mountain of women who used to send Ted Bundy, one of the worst serial killers out there, love letters and letters of support. It’s whack but some people like to empathise with the perpetrator for some inexplicable reason.

      @@joeyg448 My own (now adult) daughter has been the target of one particular person for the past 3 years; and despite having a shedload of evidence that we have handed to the Police, nothing has been done about it. The last time (in late October this year) her “problem person” actually invited us, as a family, to attend his latest sentencing hearing (for the same thing) because apparently he “wanted us to see him get away with it again because he was “going to play the whole mental health card”and to show us how his family’s wealth would ensure that he wouldn’t have any punishment for his actions”…and guess what happened? He was very sadly, right about that. No punishment, a small fine and a restraining order (x 2).
      Our daughter feels very much let down by the Police now and despite it all continuing, she refuses to go back to the Police with all of the other evidence that just keeps piling up,

    Gadd was so utterly open more with his own weaknesses and barely touched the surface of what Harvey did to him. He felt sincere compassion for her. I have never seen someone bare his soul the way he did. It’s time for him to put her in her place by taking her to court for all her crimes. She needs to be locked up 🤷🏼‍♀️

      @joeyg448 she was sought out, mate. She didn't suddenly appear and she was denying it was her at first.
      Only a single speculation for the assaulter which gadd denied it was him.
      Then.. silence... Focus on the stalker.
      Had the roles been reversed, the assaulter would've been in jail within a week.

    • @joeyg448
      @joeyg448 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Actually, she was one of several people who were ‘sought out’ but I guess that’s beside the point. Going on Piers’ show didn’t help the level of ‘focus’. I’m not sure you’re saying if the male offender was a stalker there would have been punitive retribution or if his identity was made known, he would’ve been in gaol. But in either case, ‘mate’, Gadd would have to press charges and I don’t believe he was up to it. It’s a hard road for SA victims. There’s a presumption of innocence and I think victims already feel they were complicit so I’m not sure if the roles were reversed, there would’ve been a jail sentence. It’s just not that straightforward. Also, with an aggressive stalker (like Gadd’s stalker) who stalks over a long period of time, they can be just as traumatic as an aggressive SA. But I guess you’re saying that men are generally considered more of a threat than women and therefore suffer more serious consequences? Yes. You’re right about that. Check ED/ER records of female victims of family violence and/or SA, against male victims of the same. Men are more of a threat because the consequences are often life threatening and they do a lot of damage. That isn’t to say females are never a threat, of course they are, but they’re not as common and they tend not to do as much damage. I think the police messed up with Gadd’s stalker. She is way more aggressive and threatening than the police thought she was and if any of her prior victims had pushed for a more serious result, maybe something could have been done sooner. I guess we’ll never know.

    • @BansheeVanRaven
      @BansheeVanRaven หลายเดือนก่อน

    • @melancolie83
      @melancolie83 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Well, first, even if you block them, they can easily create another account, and another one, etc. She admitted to having multiple email accounts in the Piers Morgan interview, so here's that. And second, you said it yourself, she's crazy; the fact she bombarded him with sexual emails doesn't mean he was replying to her. I mean, we know she stalked other people before, that's what she does, she's a stalker and she's delusional. And even if he did reply a few times, that doesn't make those 41'000 emails and her obsession with him any less scary.

      Look up what bipolar is and what the symptoms are. It’s an episodic illness so even if your assertion of constant lying was correct (it’s not) would people with bipolar be lying all through depressive episodes AND (hypo)manic episodes? Or just one or the other? And if they weren’t currently suffering with any episode and were just as ‘normal’ as anyone else? Do they lie then?
