Levy, as great as he was, simply got outcoached by Parcells and Belichick. That, plus some bad luck, lead to the one SB loss they've should've won.

There were so many Bill's fans there that the stadium still roared when they scored...again, and again, and again. Gotta love the sure hands of Brian Brennan though. One hour before that game, head coach Bud Carson benched Bernie Kosar in favor of Mike Pagel as the Bills wallopped the Browns 42-0. The next day, Bud Carson was fired as the Bye Week started. Carson started 2-7. Jim Shofner replaced him as the Browns' interim head coach who went 1-6.
You are correct. It didn't make any difference though - they went 1-6 the rest of the way and weren't much more competitive than they were here. There was nothing that could have salvaged this team.
It's so strange watching these games now - that for old guys like me doesn't seem that long ago, where they don't show the score on the screen. Trust me, I'm NO fan of the constant and annoying incessant crawl at the bottom updating all the statistics for the damn fantasy football ish, but the score is nice to see on the screen these days.
This Browns team was an unmitigated disaster; they were the worst team ever in the original iteration of the Cleveland franchise. They lost games 34-0, 42-0, 58-14 and 35-0 and had a negative -234 point differential for the season, which was actually far worse than their 2017 team that went 0-16.
Bernie shouldn't of been bench for pagel there is a reason he was the backup secondly kauric was not a very good kicker for the browns and lastly there is so many horsecollar tackes roughing the passer and late hits its ridiculous smh
This Bills team was so good, it's a shame they couldn't win the Super Bowl this year.
