My instructors at school couldn't help me with it. You can bring in individual components into a drawing through Drawing View/ Select Configuration/Select Bodies. At least that's how I'm doing it.
I was asked recently if I could take our siding and decking products that we have modeled in Solidworks and modify them to be used by Architects in their construction projects. I envision they are wanting to be able to simply select all of their walls on a building then choose one of our siding products and it will automatically propagate around the walls handling the corners and any interference (windows, doors, etc.) accordingly. They also want BIM attached to the product so that they know how much it will cost, the weight, etc. As any of this possible?
watching in 2023, great video
I love the ease of creating structural members with weldments. However, I haven't seen much for creating fabrication drawings for each part.

one can also insert each body into a new part and create Drawings from there.

Following your tutorial exactly the only trouble I had was having the Cut list automatically populate with plate descriptions. Any suggestions?
