"I am not buying it" may be the most fitting response to the half-hearted arguments Harsha often doles out. It’s clear that Harsha has already "bought in," as evidenced by his unwavering defense of a player who has been out of form for four long years. Even a legend like Tendulkar might not have been afforded such leniency during a comparable slump. Tendulkar’s peak spanned more than a decade, and even in his decline, his performance metrics remained commendable, with only a slight dip in his average. In contrast, this player-who enjoyed a peak lasting perhaps four years-has seen a slump that has now outlasted his prime. Beyond personal performance, his insistence on flawed concepts like “showing intent” jeopardized the careers of other talented players, such as Rahane and Pujara. The philosophy of "live by the sword, die by the sword" seems apt; Kohli will show intent in his last innings too and nick behind in the process for a single digit score. Does not matter. At least he showed intent. Regardless, his defense lawyers will eulogize his career as extraordinary. Quick question: What’s more sad than a career with a slump longer than its peak? Perhaps the career of a "defense lawyer", prioritizing self-interest over objectivity and integrity.
The biggest problem for India has been number 3. When the top 3 does well (atleast take the shine off), our middle order does really well. Until Pujara was decent enough, Kohli reigned supreme. Now we have the number 4 and number 5 playing the 5th or 6th over. They are not made for it. We don't have crease occupiers anymore at number 3.
India should have a separate Test team with players like Abhimanyu Eeswaran, Sarafaraz, Tanmay Agrawal, etc., and completely dedicated Test bowlers. Also, the BCCI should incentivise these individuals by providing hefty paychecks compared to those who play ODIs and T20s. These Test players are doubtfully going to get an IPL call, so the young generation is not very keen to adopt Test cricket as an option. If we have a great annual contract for Tests, new people will be attracted to the format.

Finally someone appreciates KL Rahul. Thanks DK bhai for honest opinion. KL is really showing India team and Management how test cricket has to be played
How short memory is... even among today's elite commentators. Remember K L Rahul's century in January on a barn burner in South Africa. DK then said something to the effect of... South Africa was the toughest... the bounce and seam of Australia with the swing of England. Understand this, fellas... KL Rahul showed he was India's best overseas batsman by a mile in January.

Harsha wanted to know about KL's method for good batting...... it's simple.....KL was playing *test cricket*.... *methodically*...... that's the way test cricket is played....old fashioned but effective.... All the KINGs,Princes and X factors were playing for 2 minutes glory!!

Virat getting out the way he does all the time is a case of a person who is blinded by arrogance of trying to prove whole world wrong rather than having the humility of accepting the flaws and work on it
From 2016 to 2018, Kohli was unstoppable, scoring freely & averaging over 75 in consecutive years. His ability to convert 50s into 100s was remarkable. However, looking at his overall career, Kohli might be seen with an extraordinary peak, like Mohammad Yousuf of Pak, but still Younis Khan & Miandad are considered better. In the same way Tendulkar, Dravid, or Gavaskar look way ahead Kohli in test. His decline began after 2019, especially in the 2019-2021 WTC cycle, where he averaged just 19.33 in 2020 & 28.21 in 2021, 26.50 in 2022. Playing all formats & skipping domestic red-ball cricket may have caused burnout, stopping him from fixing his game. Old problems of chasing wide deliveries & struggling against spin..returned. His average against left-arm spinners dropped from 106 (2015-2019) to 31 (2020-2023), & he didn’t adapt to overcome these issues. It’s shocking that his last Test century before 2023 came in 2019. Lately, his centuries have often come when the team is already in a strong position, like in Perth after Jaiswal’s big innings. When was the last time he batted exceptionally when the team was struggling? Since 2020, his centuries have mostly come while facing an older ball in more comfortable situations. His ability to face the new ball, especially in Tests, has worsened. He’s played a few difficult knocks, like in the 2020 WC & T20 WC final, but his form has dipped overall. From being the rock of the team, he's now part of the problems. The bigger question is..has Kohli made any visible effort to improve? Has he played 1st class matches or worked with a coach, like Rahane did with Praveen Amre or Pujara in both India & Eng? Players like Sachin worked hard on their game against Warne & Lanka to overcome challenges, so what has Kohli done to show he’s working on his weaknesses?..
When you talk about Virat we definitely count Pujara, Rahane,M Vijay and others role in XI too. Where they spend more time in crease to take out the shine of new ball. They used to face at least 50 balls. Which means mostly they don't thrown their wickets away in tight spells. Virat used to avg higher during their presence. Unlike currently we used to lose wickets at very early of the game.
Jaiswal and Gill are not really cut for test game. Both have sketchy technique and not a good temperament. Once the opposition figures out these newcomers, they are over. Lets not put young players on a pedestal after just a few innings.
Travis head template works because their top 4 are playing out first 20-30 overs. And Bumrah is in his second spell when he comes. Bazzball only works on flat pitches. You have to have ability to grind and have good defense to win consistently in all conditions. Adelaide - Marnus and McSweeny went through the grind. This test, Khwaja, Mcsweeny and Marnus played out quite a few balls. and of coursre, Smith who took it further. Yes we have a Pant, who can do things like Head. But we are missing a Pujara or Rahane at 3,4.
@@arjundixit6511 Bhai ODIs ka white ball jyada der tak swing nahi hota hai and pitches are generally batting friendly. So Travis Head opening in test matches also works. But SA, Aus, England where there is swing or seam movement. New ball ko blunt or play out karna hi padta hai. Gilchrist also never opened in tests for same reason. Sehwag ka naam mat lena. Uske baad ek Deewar, ek God aur ek very very special batsman aata tha batting karne . Toh he was given the license
@@Rohit24Kumar Yes Look what we did when Jaiswal and Rahul hung in there and scored 170 runs in Perth. Of course conditions also changed. But Suddenly Kohli, Pant became different batsmen. Gill playing too many strokes is also a problem. But see how their fortunes turn when they get good batting conditions in Sydney. Same reason we struggle to win in SA.
@kartikkatkar1988 because they started well. When things are not going your way you need someone to disturb the opponent bowling. I am not asking to blindly slog but patience+ positive intent
Winning overseas brings tremendous pleasure, not just because you're fighting the opposition but also everything else that comes with it - the weather, the wickets, the crowds, and the relentless media. Even losing a well-fought series doesn’t sting as much. However, what this series does rather brutally is put into perspective the recent 0-3 home drubbing at the hands of New Zealand. And that’s where the ‘ouch’ hits - it hurts like hell. The only redemption adequate enough would be to somehow win this series Down Under. Only then can we smugly declare: ‘In order to win overseas, one must dare to lose at home.’ As for Virat and Rohit, I still believe they would have handled things much better had they been 7-8 years younger. At their current age and stature, it’s difficult to imagine them being hungry enough to curb their ways or tweak their techniques to engineer a turnaround. I’d be more than happy to eat my words if they prove me wrong - and I genuinely hope they do.

This current indian batting lineup is great on flat pitches . But when there is something in the pitch (Spin /bounce/swing ) then the lineup collapses, as seen based on recent history.
KL Rahul better prepared.. had the A game before... Sharma snookered with his child arrival, Jaiswal the aggressor, Warner style, Gill always plays aggressive.. Missing Pujara... Rahul very good.. Can last 4 batsman bat 90 overs?
Time for VK and Rohit to call it a day. This should be their last test match. Make way for Jurel and Paddikal. They are scoring 10 runs between them 2. I am sure Jurel and Paddikal can do the same.
Trust me guys..we have an inefficient coaching staff. Especially GG, he has good mouthpiece and nothing between ears. Morkel is making bowlers bowl morkel length. We need major changes
So let's analyse this Indian batting line up (top 6) Y Jaiswal ( has potential no doubt ...needs better temperament and real test experience) KL Rahul ( possibly the most consistent batter so far in this series... doesn't throw his wicket away ..needs some big scores to gain confidence ) S Gill ( burst on to the test scene in previous BGT with that half century vs aus ... technically good but finds new ways to get out ..still has to prove himself in a real test series like this one ) V Kohli ( outside off stump line ..the same problem for almost a decade add to it the issues against spin ..needs to be focused and disciplined if not he will not be remembered as a great test batter ..simple as that ) 5 .R Pant ( the only batter that can take the attack to the opposition..needs to be more consistent..should take responsibility for his failures ) 6. R Sharma ( Tests haven't been his strong suit ..if not the captain don't think he would be in the team as a pure batsman right now ) 7. N Kumar ( most impressive batsman so far ..can be in the team as a pure batsman at least for this series )
Having watched cricket for many years (35+) I haven't seen a one dimensional cricketer anywhere in the world who keeps getting chances for 4 years( 35 tests 61 innings) with hardly having significant knock in the format without even getting dropped from the team. There are instances of players making a comeback after being dropped ( played domestic and coming back) like Sehwag, Rahul, Rahane, Pujara in recent times. Please let me know if anyone could recall any other player in this category in the history of the game.
On wickets with Seam and Swing, I think KL Rahul should protect other batsmen by playing all 20 overs, taking single of last ball of every over. THis will help Yashasvi and Gill to not lose wickets early. Once we pass 20 overs like this, then India batting will work.
VK and Gill have the same deficiency. Can't play the ball down when it was 4th 5th stump and above kneeroll. Their bat swing comes from the ground level, and there is no upright stance or a trigger movement towards off stump. Both will make them play straight instead of through covers. Crouched drives are suitable for subcontinent pitches only.
India doesn’t deserve to play WTC final honestly. 2nd innings in the 1st test of BGT was just a good day at work. Batters have been effing up since quite some time now. Also, Indian Team is not able to recover from NZ series, their confidence is shaken for sure. So the way SA and Aus is playing, they deserve to play the WTC final.
It may just be a rumor but i believe they are building a new facility for training which could emulate any track in the world. Again, i would only believe it once it’s built but if it becomes a reality, it will be great for youngsters. I don’t think it will impact the full time players because their schedule is already heavily packed. But it will be great for youngsters or players returning from injuries.
When will these cricketers become accountable to the Indian cricket fan. I got up this morning to watch some tough test cricket. But instead what I saw was the Indian top order coming out and showing that they have no idea how to play the new ball in SENA countries. But I wonder how they were able to do it in the second innings at Perth. Is it just that there is a different captain and hence different strategy. I am just looking for answers, but obviously the Indian cricket fan never had a stake in this game
India will soon need to find a #3 batter like a Pujara or Dravid that is willing to put a price on his wicket. Gill doesn't belong there, he need to move down to 5 and go up to 4 when Virat is out. I am sure there is a test cricket worthy #3, got to put him on the park soon.
Living in the UK and then Australia, been following India for over 40 years. They never fail to disappoint!!! Just when you think they are world beaters, they show how much they are not!. WTC X2, One day world cup final in their own back yard. One day world cup final in Jo'burg. Knocked out of the world cup in the Caribbean. Thrashed by NZ at home. I give up now.
Pure analysis from DK. Harsha tried to defend Kohli by showing he's coming too early in the innings where he hasn't scored. But we have seen Kohli scoring 100s' in both innings in Adelaide 2015. He has scored so many 100 run partnerships with Pujara and Rahane. So this excuse to describe his bad form is just not acceptable.
It feels saddening and frustrating to see a great man like Harsha suck upto these players and shut his mouth before uttering a single critical word about their worst performances
I completely disagree with DK about his opinion about openers. In Test cricket openers job is to grind the new ball, adapt to the conditions and then score runs. Scoring runs is his last priority, at least in Test cricket openers don't have pressure of Scoring 7-8 runs per over which he is talking about, currently Jaiswal is getting out early by playing careless shot and he doesn't seems to have technique to be a Test opener. He has failed in all innings in Australia and south Africa and scored only once when the pitch and conditions got flatter in 2nd innings in Perth
Nah, thats not true. But i agree atleast one has to be a grinder. Aussies dominated with hayden and ponting in top 3 and they dint grind. Langer was the only grinder.
Harsha should stop protecting Kohli. Such BS to say he hasn’t done well when he walks in early. Ridiculous. Kohli and Rohit have sucked in the last few years bar an inning or two. No dancing around that. We have other batters who are younger and should be given a fair shot to prove their mettle instead of these two dragging on forever.
It's time for 'King' to announce his retirement from the test as everyone has his or her day and continue playing the IPL! Youngsters are waiting for an opportunity
At this point, even a 6 year old can get Virat out by consistently bowling on 5th or 6th stump line. If anyone started watching him from 2020, I don't think anyone would even think he's even a decent batter let alone a top batter. Even batters like Rahul, Laxman, Ganguly, Sachin were dropped when they weren't performing in the team, I don't know what lobby Kohli has in BCCI thats protecting him for the last five years, but five years is a pretty long stretch for a batter who is struggling like a kitten on the hot pan. I understand for a player like Kohli, they earned some high ceiling for a failure, but five years is pretty high ceiling for any legendary player let alone Kohli. This is not only hurting the team, but both Rohit and Kohli are setting a wrong example for youngsters like Jaiswal, Gill, Pant, Sarfaraz, Jurel, Nitish, etc. it sends them a wrong signal that it doesn't matter how much you fail, we will keep backing you. KL played good because he knows his place is under threat so he's playing carefully. Meanwhile, everyone, especially Kohli, knows that no one has the courage to drop them despite many failures. This kind of safety net always allow them to play carelessly rather than carefully. A very thin line between both of them if you don't show the backdoor to people who fail consistently.
Kohli from 2021 had to even struggle a lot mentally cuz of stupid indian fans and the bcci that you are saying "wants to shield him". They couldnt really see Kohli on so high of his game so they tried to get him out as a captain and then as a player. And that can affect your gameplay a lot, self doubt comes into play and then our stupid fans made it worse. Dont tell me that you think anyone was a better test captain than Virat was, those years made Kohli lose the mental strength he had
@@DontEatTacoBell you still don't understand people who don't have mental strength can not perform in any Sport. People will question your abilities when you don't perform because they are attached to the Sport. Defending your idol is good but defending him by telling people put him under pressure is ridicules. Please read some Psychology books you will understand what mental strength is. Anyway I do like Virat passion for cricket but he is not a good Test batsman now. Even Don bread man know when to hang boot, how could have played more because of his test cricket performance.
I'm sorry a little worrisome is an understatement. Kohli has an average of 30 since 2020. If it was any other player, he would've been dropped by now. How much longer are we going to carry him? You need to keep your ego in check while playing test cricket. Do these players never learn from Williamson, root, or Smith?
The question is do we have a good batting coach who can quickly help them over come this..are we missing someone like Rahul and Ravi who have more experience playing in such conditions
Jadeja's inclusion is stupid, understand that he has done well in England with the bat and I am a huge fan. But with the ball he was not attacking he was below average and didn't even threaten the bats. With the bat he's completely been out of form and so if he doesn't score runs it's a waste. Hopefully Sir Jadeja can score some runs
It's ironical to see that Harsha is asking to ignore the social media which is also a voice for most of the Indian cricket fans. This got me thinking, what's the point of being passionate about cricket, if my feelings are treated as trash. Aren't we make these cricketers what they are?
As a passionate Indian cricket fan, it's disheartening to see our batting struggle. It's not merely about age or past achievements; cricket is a demanding sport that requires consistent excellence. When players can no longer perform at their best, they must either elevate their game or gracefully step aside. A wise player recognizes the best choice further at their peak, while others may fail to see it, ultimately leading to their forceful exit from the team.
No one expects this team to go to the WTC Final, we don't deserve that spot. The team has not been able to play 50 overs consistently for the last year. worst part was losing 3-0 at home and not able to have the technique to play spinners. One man's effort can't get us to the WTC final.
Respect for dk for calling spade a spade!! Need him as a full time commentator for all India games, but all we get is shitty Gavaskar deep das Badani manjerekar!! No accountability whatsoever
Mr.Harshsji I want to know form you that, our first six batters dont rialise that they dont understand how to play test cricket is this a case? And once they will start relising that they dont understand how to play test ceicket then the present scenario will chang.
If you check Jadeja's recent economy it has actually been similar, and btw he'll also fail with the bat. There's something called recent form and another thing called age.

I think after this series Rohith and Virat need to play more 1st class games otherwise they need to take a little rest and bring Rahane and pujara in they are proper test players no doubt about that they have already proved it many times.
DK is brilliant. Honest, hard hitting and to the point. Shubman Gill is a case of too much hype. Needs to prove himself more before being anointed the next best thing. We are missing a Pujara and Rahane type who are less about the hype and more about just doing the hard grind.
Useless and overhyped Indian team. Drop Virat, Ashwin, Jadeja and Rohit and send them back home. They should be dropped. Gambhir is a disaster as a coach.
Don't agree with DK. It's still the job of the opening batsmen to see off the new ball if you have stroke makers like Pant coming down the batting order. I firmly believe Head was successful because he came in to bat when the ball was slightly older. Head got out in the last two innings, as soon as the second new ball was taken and hr struggled in the first test first innings where the Australian openers got out early.
Well .. couple of things that in retrospect we might or could done differently. Given Bumrah captaincy for one more test match and see if he capable of pulling the weak bowling we have apart from him . Clearly Rohit would have relaxed his way into batting considering the drubbing we got at home . The attacking mindset doesn’t help here because if we want to protect fast bowlers (Bumrah)bowling every other day , batsman have to grind . KL is doing that but I’m not sure what the batting coach is saying to The players .positive intent is one but trying to score of every ball is ridiculous when Aussie team has a relentless bowling unit compared to us . We have given them a template that entire team would play attacking strokes initially is definitely off and they have fielders in correct positions . We need to surprise ourselves by playing dull and boring cricket to say we can defend well and we can play more than 2 sessions .
Completely agree with DK.., GILL does have a technical problem whilst trying to drive the ball and I noticed this in the first test last year vs SAF as well., but he appeared to have made the adjustment in the next test in Cape Town., but also think he has a concentration problem ..

Hi Harsha and DK, based on the performance from our batters, the approach which the team management and the board should take now is form a 20 member Test team who should completely focus only on Test cricket and may be some ODI cricket. No red ball player should play T20 cricket apart from the two month IPL. That is what Pujara did and his approach while batting has been consistent throughout and has the ability to grind. Currently with so much amount of cricket, players are not able to adjust there batting style while switching formats. So it's better, we move out of the "3 format batter" and focus on one style of game. Would be eager to hear your views
Please don't hesitate to discuss technical aspects . Lots of people learn from that . Its good to get insights from the person who played cricket at the highest level.
Indian batting is poor irrespective of the conditions.. We have filled team with batsman who are good on flat tracks .. Disappointing!! I don’t want to blame the players but I have to blame the BCCI, selectors and team management for not selecting/ managing the right players for the right format..
DK is trying to defend his friend and teammate at RCB, Kohli. Doesn't matter how many Mandir, Ashrams, Kirtan he goes to clean or change his image. He might say "nothing is in your hand, it's all god and his wish", he is basically a egoistic man. His ego is way bigger then his body. That is what has made him who he is. It's his ego which is telling him that he is the king, he can, he wants to dominate, hence hard hands, reaching out to full wide balls. His ego has gone out of his control at this point which is not allowing him to let the ball go 😢.
Silly social media people? Come on Harsha, the man averages 31 over the last 5 years, your obsession matters very little to those silly social media people. He has been a walking wicket in test cricket, even in sub continent getting out to any spinner. Virat once was awesome, he isn't no more. The sooner we all come to terms with it, the better it is for Indian cricket.
@Harsha - if Kohli isn’t able to play the new ball, then how are me saying he is the best in the world. The best should be able to adapt to any situation. No.2 - How long have we been seeing this batting order fail regularly? On a rare occasion they click and win a match. But is baffling that this batting order is failing again and again and we are trying to justify they are having poor mental approach etc. I love my team India and the way they play..But this is utterly disappointing. The plans, the approach etc all have been very poor. Where is the coach in all of this? Can’t understand!
I want to give a huge shout out to DK here for being quite objective❤. We watch you guys to here the honest opinion. I would request you guys to not think about your friendship with current players and only talk about the game that we all love.😊
This where having someone like Dravid as the coach could help the batters.. a strong need to have a batting consultant for sure considering the recent collapses.. at this level if the batting unit (top 6) cannot bat it out for 50 overs..
Harsha and Dinesh: Both of you have analyzed our batters plus and minus very methodically in precise manner. Thank you for your useful tips for our guys, Hope things will improve and they will stick on to the basics that they were used for in the past.
I love DK’s intensity here .. he is speaking what every Indian cricket follower is thinking … we expect more maturity from our top order batsmen.. and Rishabh Pant is no exemption.. he got out on an rash shot in Adelaide when him and Reddy could have saved the match and he does the same here .. very irresponsible of him specially when someone like Dhruv Jurel is not getting a chance because of him

South Africa was the toughest... the bounce and seam of Australia with the swing of England. Understand this, fellas... KL Rahul showed he was India's best overseas batsman by a mile in January.
DK was super annoyed. But I do agree with Harsha. Even though Marnus and McSweeney didn't score too much but they blunted the new ball for Travis Head
True marnus was really unlucky
Pujara & Rahane patiently waiting.....

All the KINGs,Princes and X factors were playing for 2 minutes glory!!
his test average is 37 in 2024, which is mediocre performance but looks good bcz "andhon me kana" raja hota ha

Virat getting out the way he does all the time is a case of a person who is blinded by arrogance of trying to prove whole world wrong rather than having the humility of accepting the flaws and work on it
Now people gonna understand the impact of pujara.. Without pujara a pant will never work.. Without puji pant always gonna come inside 10 overs..
Agree 200 percent
No one cares
Not even Kohli himself
He worked on his weakness by baby sitting in London.
He hasn’t worked and getting out same way: needs to retire now
Jaiswal and Gill are not really cut for test game.
Finally someone understood. team is over reliance on Jaiswal and pant coming too early to bat
Bhai odi me kaha o 6 pe ata he ye bakvas o opening me ake bhi fad dega
Only then can we smugly declare: ‘In order to win overseas, one must dare to lose at home.’
As for Virat and Rohit, I still believe they would have handled things much better had they been 7-8 years younger. At their current age and stature, it’s difficult to imagine them being hungry enough to curb their ways or tweak their techniques to engineer a turnaround. I’d be more than happy to eat my words if they prove me wrong - and I genuinely hope they do.
Virat is a just very avg. Test player with a very good 3-4 years. He was inconsistent before 2016 and awful since 2019.
That's the truth
That's harsh, but when I look at the stats, it's true. His 2014-15 Australia series was an exceptional series though, before 2016.

This current indian batting lineup is great on flat pitches . But when there is something in the pitch (Spin /bounce/swing ) then the lineup collapses, as seen based on recent history.
Shubman's technique is well suited for 4, when the ball is older and when you are expected to play the shots. Not at 3.
KL Rahul has to be the most underrated batsman in India
Why none of people's spking about pant. He is also a culprit.. in this three test match he haven't scored more than 30runs
Kohli, Gill and Rohit need to watch the Sanjay Bangar, Rahul Dravid partnership in 2002 Edgbaston test in England
So let's analyse this Indian batting line up (top 6)
Y Jaiswal ( has potential no doubt ...needs better temperament and real test experience)
KL Rahul ( possibly the most consistent batter so far in this series... doesn't throw his wicket away ..needs some big scores to gain confidence )
S Gill ( burst on to the test scene in previous BGT with that half century vs aus ... technically good but finds new ways to get out ..still has to prove himself in a real test series like this one )
V Kohli ( outside off stump line ..the same problem for almost a decade add to it the issues against spin ..needs to be focused and disciplined if not he will not be remembered as a great test batter ..simple as that )
5 .R Pant ( the only batter that can take the attack to the opposition..needs to be more consistent..should take responsibility for his failures )
6. R Sharma ( Tests haven't been his strong suit ..if not the captain don't think he would be in the team as a pure batsman right now )
No one, because he is the darling of advertisement lobby and star sports.

On wickets with Seam and Swing, I think KL Rahul should protect other batsmen by playing all 20 overs, taking single of last ball of every over. THis will help Yashasvi and Gill to not lose wickets early. Once we pass 20 overs like this, then India batting will work.
😂😂
😂😂 wow bro.... he's not playing there with tailenders

Just like you can't have Bumrah bowling at both ends, similarly you can't have Rahul batting at both ends.

Why can’t BCCI make Indian team practice on specially created fast and bouncy tracks in India before touring SENA?
It may just be a rumor but i believe they are building a new facility for training which could emulate any track in the world. Again, i would only believe it once it’s built but if it becomes a reality, it will be great for youngsters. I don’t think it will impact the full time players because their schedule is already heavily packed. But it will be great for youngsters or players returning from injuries.
Then, we also need bowlers of qualities like Starc, Cummins, and Hazelwood for ideal preparation. I don't think India has anyone other than Bumrah.
Gambhir is not a test worthy coach, Rohit is not a test worthy captain, and Virat is way past his prime.
16:50 we clearly see that DK is angry on Indian batters (specially on Jaiswal)
Do we have a batting coach in Indian team who can guide team how to bat in Australian condition.
If KL made 8000-9500 thousand run in test as opener in his career he will the 5 best batsman after Sunny / Sachin / Dravid / Virat..❤
DK is absolutely spot on on Gill and Virat
It is a pleasure to listen to DK- soon turning out to be one of our finest and most astute cricket analysts.
The opening slot should be sealed with KL Rahul no one should tinker with it .. he is not a spare tyre to fit as required 😡
@@abhijeetmh flat nahi moral down tha aussi ka because of he all out in 100 run
@DontEatTacoBell Test means patience and resilience if you crumble under pressure you are in the wrong place.

Gill doesn’t seem to be a replacement for Pujara. This series will highlight how underrated is Pujara in the previous 2 BGTs.
🤫
sir, who is the best batter in tournament. reddy sir. why isnt he up the order
Pls ask Mukesk Ambani to call Rohit back to Mumbai today if he considers himself an Indian. He is humiliating the country and it has to be stopped.

I want to know form you that, our first six batters dont rialise that they dont understand how to play test cricket is this a case?
And once they will start relising that they dont understand how to play test ceicket then the present scenario will chang.
If you check Jadeja's recent economy it has actually been similar, and btw he'll also fail with the bat. There's something called recent form and another thing called age.
Beyond personal performance, his insistence on flawed concepts like “showing intent”
jeopardized the careers of other talented players, such as Rahane and Pujara. The philosophy of "live by the sword, die by the sword" seems apt; Kohli will show intent in his careers last innings too and nick behind in the process for a single digit score.
Why shubhman gill is still playing?
Harsha has fallen sucking his favourite Player 🔥
KL is doing that but I’m not sure what the batting coach is saying to
The players .positive intent is one but trying to score of every ball is ridiculous when Aussie team has a relentless bowling unit compared to us .
We have given them a template that entire team would play attacking strokes initially is definitely off and they have fielders in correct positions . We need to surprise ourselves by playing dull and boring cricket to say we can defend well and we can play more than 2 sessions .

Gill is following the footsteps of Virat & Rohit. Unfortunately he is following their poor version.

Completely agree with DK.., GILL does have a technical problem whilst trying to drive the ball and I noticed this in the first test last year vs SAF as well., but he appeared to have made the adjustment in the next test in Cape Town., but also think he has a concentration problem ..
When so called commentators/ experts become courtesans cricket takes a fall !! I wish our experts were honest to accept and narate the facts ..
please bring Pujara back, he is only TEST player you had in your side and you made him sit outside.

Rohit cannot captain India in tests. Just like Dhoni, he doesn’t understand test cricket. Bumrah should be the rightful captain.
17:40 why can't be in Non striker in 1st over ...everyone knows Strac Is very dangerous in 1st over
Want india to bat for a long... A century from rahul or rohit would be great for upcoming matches..

Probably the first time I am irritated with Harsha..DK atleast has the guts to address the elephant in the room..
Itna phat ta kyun hai criticise karne mein...its not one or two games..it has been years..grow a spine..praise when its due, critique when its due.
He has raised valid points ? He has criticized the shot selection
Why there is no sai sudarshan in team?
Injured..
I do not agree with harsha, with current form, india can not make 445 in total in 2 innings using 20 wickets
Both Dk and harsha need a hair cut for the vlog😂😂😂
