Hi Ellie :) Just wanted to share something I learned about recently. Have you heard of PRF under eye treatment? I have thought about and ultimately decided against filler for me personally, but this PRF sounds pretty intriguing. They use your own blood so there is nothing foreign being injected. 💛

My daughter had horrible, red perioral dermatitis and her pediatric dermatologist prescribed a topical antibiotic -- erythromycin in a CREAM. It was soothing bc it was a cream but it nuked the PD. Had to keep it refrigerated. I think we applied it twice daily and within a few days a dramatic difference and within a week gone. This was seven years ago now.
I have been dealing with the same skin condition! I switched toothpastes and that helped for a while and then I discovered my defoliator which had never caused me problems before was the cause and it hasn't come back since I stopped using it.
I love watching God's light shows, and storms! Inlive in colorado. My apartment patio faces our mountains. I'm new to this place. I'll have to see how easily I can see the lightening, and storms.
It’s not hormonal acne at all is it? I know you said pderm. But just thought I’d throw this out there just in case. I have awful hormonal acne and my dermatologist prescribed spironolactone. It worked wonders!!! Just a thought and I hope some of those current options help asap! Skin troubles are so annoying!
I started breaking out badly just from consuming olive and avocado oil. I removed that from my diet and now I only cleanse with diluted apple cider vinegar which also acts as a toner. My skin completely cleared up and I have no need to use any other products or antibiotics. Hope you find that helpful : )
I’ve been dealing with perioral dermatitis since sept 2023. my derm said fluoride, mints, cinnamon, inhalers, nasal spray, and all nuts can cause it. I’ve done the oral antibiotics twice and a topical antibiotic twice to get it to go away. I’ve noticed when I eat peanuts it comes back but I’ve been ok with a normal toothpaste/ pair products, normal skin care. Hope it helps you out and it stays resolved!!

Perioral dermatitis is a hard thing to deal with. I usually get it once or twice a year. Antibiotics every time. I wish I knew the cause because it came out of nowhere the first time. I have switched up my dash wash and toothpaste as well but it stills comes back. I feel ya Ellie 😅
Have you tried Risewell toothpaste? It’s clean ingredients, but a normal toothpaste consistency. I have loved it so much. Also, Crunchii just launched a tinted sunscreen last week I think.
I'm not a 100% sure... but several years I think that had the same thing that you have, and my dermatologist said that it was related to stress. Ugh, I wish I could remember what she had me use.
…adding to say “chin tox” i can’t do filler because of the autoimmune issues (lupus/hashimotos/sjogrens) and they won’t allow it due to potential flares

You should try PRF gel for the undereye! I’m an aesthetic nurse & it’s my favorite for that area! Even more so than filler. It actually does something for your body rather than filler which is just an implant!

For shampoo get Plaine Products or Prose! And DOUBLE cleanse!! It makes a huge difference
