Owned and restored two cub 70's in 2010. Owned a cl125 in college in 1979, owned a mint 1975- 750 four from 1999-2009, restored a 1968 dream 305 in 2012 and rode it till 2018. I first rode a Honda 305 on back seat in 1963 as a four year old! My first motorcycle ride ever! Throw in owning a Yamaha and Harley along the way....but.....really like Honda engineering....now I want one of these new ones!
I just noted this was 3 years ago. The 2021 was red and the 2022 gets a gray graphite color. However, the 2021 doesn’t get the traditional red seat. Still has the 4 speed, but hoping it gets a 5 speed in 2022. It’s still rather pricey, should be $2,799 or $1,799. I still haven’t seen a Honda Trail 125 at the Honda dealership yet.
In the U S. the only color you can get is that gaudy blue with the red seat, it looks like something Bing Crosby would go for because he was color blind.
The C90 was and is THE most epic motor-cycle ever because 1. It was dirt cheap ( £170:00 on the road ) 2. You could put your wife/girlfriend on the duel seat and at 50 mph you could ride all day long..In fact it was everything THIS so called copy is not....Dont let "rose coloured glasses" sway you...
What is the F--king point of a 1 gallon tank!!!!!!! If I commuted on that in London, I'd be filling up every two days! When will Honda realise that bikers hate filling up, so the greater the distance between fuel stops the better!!!! p.s it needs a dual seat too.....
@@gerrynightingale9045 - Including tax and license, mine came in at $226. And yes, it had the 2 passenger seat and passenger pegs. 1969 was the last year for the Super Cub in the USA. They were discontinued and marked way down. Otherwise I would have bought a Super 90, S-90 or scrambler 90. CL-90? Besides the dorky scooter look (I ditch the knee guards first day) the 3 speed transmission was the worst. Just OK on level ground but not for hill climbing. Ended up wound out in first gear. A gear or two between first and second was badly needed.
@@scootergeorge9576 I'm aware of all that and more regarding the 'CM-90' step-thru model...I rode it for three years. david kowalkowski You’ll never be able to buy a new motorcycle with ABS, smart key system, and CC for $2,000. Never. $3600 for a motorcycle that will never die, unless you absolutely abuse it, is a steal.
@@Jabsy101 well you can buy a new scooter for around $2,000. some come with ABS most do not. but its a scooter sized engine with scooter components. it should be more competitively priced. idk i agree with both sides of the fence here, but 3500 and then look at this bike and what your getting and it is a little hard to digest, i feel at 2999 this bike would be that much more easy on the wallet and the wife... but really 3500 for a bike that literally lasts FOREVER and you can keep for 30 years is not a bad deal... ugghhhh im torn on getting one or not.

I love the fact Honda still make this.An icon for sure.

Parts from Japan ,assembled in Thailand now on sale in Malaysia for RM15k. Without abs.
needs a pillion seat and sturdy rack for me to buy
I believe there is aftermarket support for that
Are they going to be sold in Canada as well? My first bike was a trouble-prone 100cc Ducati Cadet!
It’s the most fun I’ve had without my clothes on.
how much .
In Australia the ride away cost is $6099, don't know about overseas . A bit pricey. That was today 1/1/ 2020.
How is that a review?
Yeah not a review at all, but an Honda info commercial
This thing is a South East Asian machine , made in Bangkok
I had one in 66 and 76.
Lovely report. Go the Aussies.
it's even got the same grom tail lights
How much?
Im 195 lbs. I have a 2020 model. On level on highway i get 60/63 mph
Here in the Southwest, they would literally run you over if you got on the highway with anything less than 250cc.
In the U S. the only color you can get is that gaudy blue with the red seat, it looks like something Bing Crosby would go for because he was color blind.
You mentioned imagine a car with old design today. Ever hear of a Morgan? Plus what’s it like to ride?

put extra in a container and fill it at home
Inloved
It should be half the price since there are no color options. Who wants a one color fits all bike? Not me!
Good choice. You made one more bike available to someone who no longer thinks like a child.
Outside of the U.S. you get different color options.
My 1969 Super Cub 90 cost $199 brand new.
Mine was a '68 (I was 14) for $300 'out-the-door' *but* was a 2-person seat w/foot-pegs. (I wonder why only one passenger offered in U.S.?)
