This is a clean build I like it and I've been doing research on this car because I recently bought a 2020 civic hatch sport manual and I've seen that you can't push a CVT transmission over 250whp reliably you would have to do a manual transmission swap for more power, don't recommend getting a different turbo unless you plan on the manual transmission swap which is a lot of work, but you could get a turbo charger inlet pipe and an intercooler along with some charge pipes to get to 250whp with the ktuner
Yeah I’m probably not getting a big turbo any time soon. I do know someone who has done fbo w/ rv6 drop in turbo. I’ll be getting a type r in the next couple of years so I’m trying not to put too much money in this guy lol. Next video dropping tomorrow 😂

Heard of guys managing to get around 285-300whp with a CVT model just fine using a custom dyno tune. Granted, I don't think they're doing pulls all the time on the road either. Lot of the reliability issues on the CVT stem from over torquing/ overheating and poor lubrication of the factory HCF-2 fluid in the metal band and pulleys.
why cant you get a different turbo
@FugaNotOfficial full bolt on hit around 250whp from what I've seen you could get one for the sake of turbo reliability but pushing to much on a cvt is a bad idea

@@dwuann4493 Facts dude, I wanted a manual but the only sonic gray sport they had was a CVT and I was impatient after test driving a shit ton of cars XD. Crazy how I even tried a veloster N, WRX, civic si, GTI even, yet I settled on the simplicity of the fk7 lol

Your car and a few others have been inspiration for mine. My black badge at the back didn't fit so changed 🤦🏼♂️ nice motor. The spoiler is it just stuck on or drilled as I've seen it and was thinking of changing mine but quite like mine also. Cheers from Scotland

@@imregero got them from hirevsports but if I were you I works save up for the Mugen ones on kimgmotorsport. They’re just better quality and don’t get the condensation in them like the knock offs

Wouldn’t suggest going big turbo on a CVT.
Are u going to get a full 3inch straight pipe exhaust? With jpipe for drone... I think its fastest then with no back pressure

Hey man, you got any tips for getting the wing to stabilize at high speeds? I have a mugen wing as well on the FK7. It functions well until i go over 50 MPH.
Car looks great from side and front but from back the car looks awful. 3 spoilers... original lights are beter in my opinion. 1 thing. I love your wheels man, they are amazing i need them on my civic too.

@@yxvani real carbon and yeah at high speeds it doesn’t wobble. I might be looking to get a new one so if you can’t find one I may sale
if you do change yours to a type r style. how would you switch it knowing they both have different drill hole lengths. Like the drill hoes the mugen one requires is farther apart than a type r styled one.

How you do your tsp tune??i have ktuner v2 in my civic sport cvt 2017
You have to buy the tune from tsp and then upload the file to your KTuner
