I get the carpenter reference. My father worked with wood, as a hobby, and hadn't the $ to buy the nice tools- so it was amazing what he could do with what he had. The DIMASH of carpentry is probably NAKASHIMA for me. In a local museum there was a bench and chair in the lobby you could actually SIT IN. I was in tears. My gal-pal had no clue why I was so moved and thrilled. I said that is kinda like sitting on a Mona Lisa. Shaker furniture- same way. I don't have to be a master carpenter to know greatness when I see it. But having some rudimentary carpentry skills (hammer a nail) makes me appreciate what a true artist can do. ❤

He continues to look for how to improve day by day with a humility, maturity and commitment that unfortunately is difficult to find today, which makes him enormous as a human being. You're spot on about his work ethic, he doesn't stop practising and rehearsing and he still sees his teachers too. When you think about the level of his skills, yet he still sees teachers and is always giving credit to his teachers, his family and friends and even to us Dears, but his hard work is also what has gotten him to the phenomenal artist he is today. Dimash's vocal pyrotechnics are awe inspiring, and this is a cover of Celine's cover. I would like to hear him cover Eric Carmen's original which is the version I grew up on. Carmen's version touches my soul in a way that this one does not. Some songs deserve NOT to be technically flawless. All that said, I still love Dimash, this is just a different song.

Dimash's vocal pyrotechnics are awe inspiring, and this is a cover of Celine's cover. I would like to hear him cover Eric Carmen's original which is the version I grew up on. Carmen's version touches my soul in a way that this one does not. Some songs deserve NOT to be technically flawless. All that said, I still love Dimash, this is just a different song.
Would you, if you could, see Dimash in concert in the USA?? Just watching you, the sheer elation of you when you listen to him … I’ll pay for you & your wife/girlfriend to see him! I’m in Tucson, AZ & wait for him to come here! I was considering flying to Tokyo for his next concert but, alas it wasn’t to be! He IS that legendary.
