Always good to hear from you Denis. It always important to invest some time prior to teeing off on the putting green trying to determine the speed of the greens for that day. Damp greens and slopes essentially make the putt slower or faster so best way to adapt is by altering the length of your stroke. I hope that helps and I wish you continued success with your golf game.
Derek, what's your take a putter's swingweight and overall weight and how they might relate to a person's ability to achieve consistent distance control? Thx...
Good question. I have always allowed the individual player to try putters of different weight, the the results they achieve in some testing along with their own input on feel leads us to the appropriate weight. In general I have leant towards slightly lighter putters if the greens you play on regularly are faster and then slightly heavier putter if your regular greens are a little slower. I hope that helps. All the best with your golf game.
Good drills... thanks Derek!
great drills, thanks for the hep
Derek great videos, you do such a good job. Just need you to move to Florida. What changes is any do you do for hilly putts, or damp greens, etc.?
