its sad and surprising they never made a real bar that looked like the show did... it was so cool and great atmosphere .. and no brainer be a hot spot for tourists and just a cool bar people would want go to anyway....
You missed where at the end of the bar near the passageway that leads to the gift shop and the bathrooms there's a plaque bolted into the countertop that say it's Norm's spot.
The pub I went to in Jackson Ms Fenian's Pub sort of has that vibe, local celebrities and such go there, has the square bar college kids and working class etc. I am sure there are other spots like this but having been all over a good portion of the country I dont find many of them.
Life isn't like a tv show. I mean youre looking for a watering hole with a vibe of a cheers? What you want to have an episode each week? Come on man. Lol
@@danceswithcomicbooks7733 it is 100% possible for a place and people to have a similar vibe to a sitcom that has a bar and real people but live in delusion ig
No. You are thinking of the replica bar that was at another Boston location opened by the original Bull and Finch owner. The replica bar closed down in 2020
The gift shop is pretty dumb in that there’s nothing from the series. Just ‘Cheers’ stamped on random items. Why not sell the clear glass bottles or brown replica coffee cups etc. With cheers stamped on them. There wasn’t a single thing there a fan would want🤷🏻♂️
what these owners don't realize is its the Bar people wanted. not some cheers gift shop. the bar inside looks nothing like the show. big fail. keep your ted Danson bobble heads
i was at the state house for the rally today. got a burger at cheers after. you should have seen the tour bus with all those brainless tourists thinking that the show was filmed here.@@DaltonDroneZone
I been there , Cheers was greatest show of my youth !

I agree.
It was a fake atmosphere lol. You know it was a show right…
@@mysterycomment1553 of course, im saying they could have made a interior of bar that looked like the set and really cashed in
They did at Faneuil Hall in Boston. It closed in 2020
TOTALLY AGREE!!
I used to watch this! I'm so old 😄
Really enjoyed this video.
Bravo my friend!!!
Yeah. Me too. Thanks for the comment.
@@DaltonDroneZone Thank you for this wonderful video, it reminded me a lot, Cheers!!!
The most famous bar in the world the best

Oh crap. I guess I did miss that. Thanks.
I like the Tiffany stain glass lights. I gotta check this place out.
My dream is to visit...i remember watching before i went to bible study youth class
I thought they closed down in 2018. I remember seeing an article about it.
Nope. They’re still there serving food and drink.
@@DaltonDroneZone Food? It has nothing to do with a bar then?

Where did you park to visit the bar??
We were staying at a hotel on the other side of the Commons.
there in 2005 anyone there around the commons or freedom trail?
Yep, quite a few people were out and about.
Oh I bet dang near every one who visits that place walks away angry lol
I heard it shut down a while back; before the pandemic. Is it opening back up?
We were there in November 2020. As you can see it was open then.

I agree but most restaurants are overpriced these days.
