  • I added a clean out door and tray system to help me in cleaning out the chicken POOP from my chicken coop. Gross topic yes, but useful upgrade... even more YES! Also, please let me know if an updated chicken coop tour would be of interest to you guys. I've made several upgrades and changes in the last year or so and figured an update tour might be in order.     much more manageable making two smaller trays than one larger tray like I've seen on some other builds...I will definitely be building a coop similar to this one in our next house! just subscribed as well!

    I move my coop around with built on skids with my garden tractor. Works great and a whole lot less work. My coop has a wire floor so the poop falls through and can be easily washed with a hose. Always enjoy your videos Joe, thanks. Look east over the Rincon's and I'm there.

    I use the same T-25 deck screws, they are definitely an improvement over # 2 square drive. Nice work.

    Nice! Yes, Joe. I'd be interested in seeing more of the coop. Possibly looking to build a winter coop closer to the house for when the snow is flying, and a smaller space would mean they cooks keep it warmer during the cold temps.

    Another nice video Joe. Always glad to have more coop videos although the nearest I get to a chicken is at KFC. You make all of the hard work that goes into your videos so easy and it would be simple to think that there is not hours of hard graft behind each video slot. Keep up the fantastic work.

I try to do my best on each video and they are certainly not the best out there but even the simple ones take quite a bit of time.... between playing princess (me prince) with my daughter, other chores and work... oh yeah, and still digging for my cooling tunnels on the greenhouse...lol.     Hello mate ! thank you for your time in the making of this videos ; which are a good source of information for the novice DIY guys like me .     How do the chickens do once the bedding is added on top? First timer with chickens and can see how this would be a slippery surface

    I'm wondering if you will need to create a short handled cleaner to assist you with cleaning out the trays. Something shaped like a rake. But with the ends formed to follow the contours of the vinyl tray bottoms. Maybe a wooden dowel with a plywood end would work. Just my 2 cents...LOL
