Back to Life - Crystal Palace Dinosaurs Video by Tal Amiran

The Friends of Crystal Palace Dinosaurs have made a new film to celebrate how the Dinosaurs inspire, and how conservation work keeps these impressive Victorian sculptures vibrant and intact for future generations. Our new film was made by multi-award winning documentary short film maker Tal Amiran. It features conservation work done over the winter of 2016-17 on eight of the water-based sculptures. The conservators speak about their work, their feelings for the sculptures and the magical sense of the site.

I heard the terrible news about the Megalosaurus last year! So glad it's getting restored, and the others are getting restored too! These are truly special monuments and they deserve to be kept intact for future generations.

They Need Further Reconstruction Efforts The Paint Is Gone On A Lot Of Them And Several Are In States Of Disrepair
I Remember Seeing Footage Of Them In The 1990s And They Were In Better Condition
They Were Painted Fully And We're Not Damaged
These Statues Need To Be Better Taken Care Off And They Need More Funding
