Hello bro, please what is your advice about Rog strix GTX 1070Ti A8g is good for creator ?? For your informations im from Morocco and graphic cards prices is very high.
Nice piece of advice ! I’d like to add the following, especially for 3D people out there doing GPU rendering : Maybe Consider getting a blower-style rtx card instead of an open-air 3fan design or Founder Edition. Yes blower are (much) harder to find. Yes they run louder BUT : -your whole system will have much better thermals since all the hot gpu air is going to be directly exhausted by the card whereas a FE or a 3fan will recycle most, if not all of it inside the case. I have a 3 fan MSI gaming X trio 3090 and I can assure you NO air at all is being exhausted through the rear IO, ALL the hot air is recycled in the case. This does also mean that the “fresh” air cooling down your cpu is actually going to be the hot air from the gpu…. not always ideal…. manageable with a single gpu, but if you go multiple gpu it can become a problem. -because they are 2 slots cards and not 3, if your power supply and your case can take it you could run 2 cards more easily or even 3 (I had 3 blowers in my previous build, 2x 2080ti 1x 3090 in a phanteks case upgraded with noctua fans, worked like a charm). This means the “ultimate” 19k threadripper pro 3D rendering workstation could even have been…. “ultimate-er” with 3 video cards ;) ^^ Of course Your motherboard layout needs to allow it as well (I’m building a Z690 system with 3 gpus and it’s a nightmare).
Big thing to consider for 3D is, the rendering software you are using, which hardware utilization does it offer? Some offer good GPU utilization, some offer only CPU usage (for example Corona Render for C4D that I use), and some software can make use of a cpu+gpu combination. Also, can it use Cuda cores, RT cores, etc? Basically figure out what your specific software(s) make best use of, and taylor your build to that.
well, u can't go wrong with a fast mid range cpu + standard ram + nVidia RTX, I guess only Hollywood renders on 64 core Threadrippers cause they can just afford that, or their render farms can.
@@Brukner841 yep pretty much. And honestly if people have one-time needs for massive performance, there are many render farms online you can pay to use per-hour etc if you're in a pinch for an animation or similar long-rendertime work.

I got a screaming deal on a RTX 3080 like 75% off the regular price used and I found out why. It jus goes blank screen occasionally for a few seconds randomly. Now, for me I'm ok with it. I wish the guy would have been honest and told me the truth as he did not. But I just built this PC to do all my old home videos. I am not gaming with this PC. Even if i was, it does not happen often enough to be a huge problem but and I paid at such a deep discount I feel it was almost worth it. sometimes I can be using it for hours at a time and it never happens and it doesn't effect my home videos at all either. I am just saying, there is a higher price you pay when buying used and to some people this would be unacceptable.
I am a pro sound engineer and I don’t need expensive equipment to get the job done right. Same as when I edit personal videos. Any RX570 will edit smooth. CapCut is fun. And I don’t need any other editor.
I am a photographer and also love making videos. I have been thinking so many times about which GPU I'm going to buy. I love how you review on the 3050 dual but I was also thinking of my monitor's maximum refresh rate for certain games. So I keep searching for which GPU can also satisfy me for gaming with a 175hz 1440p monitor. I will be going with 3060 ti. 3070 and higher-end GPU are too expensive and impractical for video and photo works.
It's the connector thats rated for 150W on Pcie not the cable, how much power the cable can carry depends on it's diameter. Decent PSU's will have cables capable of delivering 300W no problem. The real problem occurs when you get power supplies that are multi rail garbage and might, for e.g, claim to be 600W but have 4 150W rails. Thats when trying to pull, say 200W from a single rail causes a problem. Get a single rail power supply that produces the full claimed power on its +12V rail, has a 5 year warranty or better, and is 80 plus bronze or better, and you wont go to far wrong.

I honestly think the 3080 (at original MSRP) is like the best bang for buck if you are into 3d, video editing and other visual software, with some great gaming as a benefit. AMDs new offerings are nice, but they need to invent something similar to CUDA, cause the benefits for rendering and for other software like Adobe CC suite is just too much too overlook. And the 3080 definitely is a good buy even if the new generation is just on the horizon, should last you quite a while.

Should i wait for them or should i buy the gpu now because i dont want to upgrade my build for a vey long time. And also, does faster m.2 translate to more video editing performance because i have a gen3 ssd.
If you dont want to upgrade for a long time than wait for the new upcoming cards. It is a bit of a gamble because you don't know if history will repeat itself but you should get more performance for your money if you wait. Theoretically.
Take Into consideration: The newer cards will have a larger power draw when working. The manufacturer may not have drivers ready for the style of work you are creating because the cards are so new. Last gen cards price will drop accordingly to save you money which would be better utilized on ram cpu and faster hard drive.

Great content. I'd like to add CUDA cores and Stream processors for consideration. Some use cases do work better with one or the other; at least from from my experience with 3D rendering.
@@3nertia mainly blender, did a bit of Maya but not sure how well it works with either now. From my experience, Cuda cores just render faster on average at the same price point. Cuda cores are basically nvidia's while stream processors are AMD's. Both are proprietary "graphics processors". They use different techs and require different configurations; so you do have to check for those.
You don't seem very aware of the added demands of AI on photography. For example, AI-based noise reduction is very GPU heavy and there is a great deal of difference in speed between lower and higher powered cards. AI is only going to become more prevalent in photography workflows.
This was good information, however I was looking and hoping for a specific piece. Is there one card or another that is better with one piece of software or another? Case in point, Nvidia better with BlackMagic, or AMD better was Premier? Whatever the scenario, which card of these brands is better with which piece of software?

One of my goals for 2024 is to learn digital audio and videography. My current plan is to edit on a 3900X and either a 2080Ti or a 2070 Super, all of them already on hand. I have faster CPUs, but I employ them elsewhere. I'm not planning on high volume but will be focusing on a trouble-free experience and quality results--at the expense of time. What I'm seeing as I explore GPUs and CPUs for running Resolve is that twelve Zen2 cores and either of those GPUs will be just fine. Anybody?
bros been growing like crazy nice videos bro very detailed
Appreciate that, great to see you in the comments!
All nice tips but the one withe the cable is just trash because the connectors are rated for 150w not the cable so it doesn't matter if u use one cable for 2 pcie connector
Well of course it does matter if you GPU connectors are pulling 300w but the cable and connector only up to 150w.
@@theTechNotice Nope the PCIE Conectors are made for 150w but not the cabel itselve those can be rated for much much more
i am a creator who was waiting for the prices to go down but as they went down, i am hearing that next generation gpus will hit the market.
Take Into consideration:
The newer cards will have a larger power draw when working. The manufacturer may not have drivers ready for the style of work you are creating because the cards are so new. Last gen cards price will drop accordingly to save you money which would be better utilized on ram cpu and faster hard drive.
I just saw ur vids. AWESOME! Checked out some 3060 TI cards. There was single fan, double fan & triple fan. I know u said triple was not needed. Are the single fans adequate too? THANKS.
Thanks a lot for the Info!!!... People say : " as a Creator you need an Nvidia"... Are AMD really bad for professional work?
Thank you so much. You are the Best. Very well explained and so helpful
Which one I should buy between rtx 3060 ti and rx 6700xt
Plz help
I am glad I never got my 3060 from eBay now, I do not understand how people are still selling used 3090s nearly the same price as a brand new one next day delivery on Amazon, lol...
Amazon got some half tidy deals on GPU's at the moment, Think eBay needs to catch up a little, I am actually taken back on how much used GPU's actually go for on eBay, When Amazon is next day delivered and brand new, I bought a 1660 super on eBay, So eBay good for GPU's like the 1660 but as far as the 3090's they still too expensive for some reason I don't understand....
Nice video! What do you think about PNY NVIDIA T600 for non professional pc? it still gives good support for video editing? Thanks
Thanks for the information. Do you think overclocking the GPU will help decrease 3D rendering time?
Probably, but also increases instability, as a professional I wouldn't do it!
wait you can use the igpu in a cpu along side a GPU now??? i'm like 30 and have been building all my life but this is news to me, I saw some mining rigs ( not my forte or something i'm interested in AT ALL ) that used mixed gpus having problems on forums but I don't help fix crypto problems.
is the rtx 3060 Ti is good enough in video editing and Landscape rendering, cant figure it out which one of this gpu i gonna buy between rtx 3060 ti vs 3070 ti
Damn clocked me with the "before you double tap your right thumb"
😇🤣
If I take 12400 with rtx 3060ti it will be smoothly in 4k and if not what's your advice for me
I was literally just about to double tap my right thumb….
🤣I knew it!
Hi Bro, This is one of the best presentations by Tech Notice. Well done, you are knowledgeable and an awesome person.
I have 3700x
32gb ram 3000mhz
240gb sata ssd , 2× hdd 2tb each
Asus prime b550 m a wifi
Rx570 4gb
Cooler master mwe 650wt psu
I want to upgrade my gpu to 3070, ti , 3080
Is my psu enough for these cards? And someone is selling inno 3d rtx 3070 twinnfan which is used for mining around 1year.... should i go for it or should i wait for new gen or should i purchase 30 series high end card?
Here’s an old school tip buy your cpu and gpu from micro center if u can they will always sell at msrp
Great video!!!
editing with AMD is just fine. idk why yall hate on AMD so much, rendering times are good, video looks good, never corrupts we good here, maybe some of yall just need a better cpu
Great content. I'd like to add CUDA cores and Stream processors for consideration. Some use cases do work better with one or the other; at least from from my experience with 3D rendering.
3D rendering using which program? And could I get a bit more info on "CUDA" versus "Stream" (even if it's even a 'versus'?) please?
@@3nertia mainly blender, did a bit of Maya but not sure how well it works with either now. From my experience, Cuda cores just render faster on average at the same price point. Cuda cores are basically nvidia's while stream processors are AMD's. Both are proprietary "graphics processors". They use different techs and require different configurations; so you do have to check for those.
@@danielbertuy Ah! Thank you for the edification! That explains why most of the videos for building a video creation pc usually recommend NVIDIA!
Anyone knows any difference between 8 G , 12G and 16 G video ram for creators.
You don't seem very aware of the added demands of AI on photography. For example, AI-based noise reduction is very GPU heavy and there is a great deal of difference in speed between lower and higher powered cards. AI is only going to become more prevalent in photography workflows.
this video was published more than 2 and a half years ago. A lot has changed since then!
tnx for info, it was helpful bro
Take that risk :) gamble is a verb on it's own. Great video thank you 😊
Hey hey new informations Thank you bro
Can I put i5 CPU and RTX 4080?or i 3 and 4080?for Blender and video editing
This was good information, however I was looking and hoping for a specific piece. Is there one card or another that is better with one piece of software or another?
Case in point, Nvidia better with BlackMagic, or AMD better was Premier? Whatever the scenario, which card of these brands is better with which piece of software?
More in depth video coming on Thursday about the topic!
So good information.
Ryzen 5 5500 or 5600G ?
Mistake 8. Never buy an amd gpu for content creation.. 😂
I think my life is complete now.
Since i've been following your channel, you kept reminding me of someone, but i couldn't tell who.
Then i saw Jackass Forever en then it hit me.
Are you related to Rob Dydrek?
LOL! And the Ukrainian President haha
Hey Guys, I need some help here...
I'm in need of a graphics card, my 2060 super's VRAM is faulty, keeps on giving me both vram relatted bluescreens, and problems using After Effects.
I have a ryzen 9 3900x, and x570 Auros Elite, 64gb of ram and use it mostly for compositing, motion design, 2D animation, both frame by frame and after effects.
I'm starting to feel the weight of 2,5D compositions using 2k/4K assets.
I'm kinda divided betweem the 3080 10gb, 12gb or going 3070.
Does anybody have similar workflows that can give me an hint?
Hi Bro, How bad is it if you're using the power cable that splits? :)
Not. But you have to know how many watts the cableslot in the psu delivers to the parts you want to power.
I got an msi 3080 gaming z trio for 37000₹ equalant to 450 usd in india. It is still under warranty for an other year and half. Did i get a good deal on this?
Best deal buddy
nice viodeo!
Me skipping all the mistakes to find my mistake…
How bad is it if you're using the power cable that splits?
A high quality PSU with thicker cables shouldn't have issues with even with 200W (combined) going through.
If you have been using this system for over a year and nothing has melted yet, you'll probably be fine.
@@peppa1492 I have a Corsair cx750m with an MSI RTX 2080TI and it's been set up like this for almost 2 years. Obviously, I don't know much about computers. Had a friend set this one up for me. I think I can change it to two cables. I've been just using it for editing very basic videos.
@@jayfalkus RTX 2080Ti usually used around 250W. It can draw up to 75W from the PCIe slot. That's approximately 25W over the rated spec, not a big deal.
This setup is fine, although I wouldn't necessarily do any crazy overclocking with it.
@@peppa1492 Yeah I haven't overclocked at all. Watched a couple videos on that but just haven't tried yet. I looked up mu 2080 ti and it says 300W. I'm going to look at it tomorrow and see if I can just swap the cables. After watching a ton of videos on it first haha.
What’s an igpu?
month-late, but in case you haven't gotten an answer yet: igpu stands for Integrated Graphics Processing Unit and is a GPU that is built into your CPU (so any non-F Intel Core CPUs)
Can an RTX 3070ti gpu with 5900x cpu and 64GB RAM run DaVinci Fusion smoothly in 4k?
Depends on your workflow, but I'd like to say yes, very much so! Consider 12700k instead of the 5900x though ;)
@@theTechNotice Alright, thank you very much!

Гарні відео знімаєте 👍
Can i install Gtx3060 together wihh Gtx650? :-)
No, it wouldn't be worth the bugs
@ I see. Thank you
It’s all personal preference. Any modern GPU will do the work and most are amateur editors like me. And it’s rare for a video editor to make more than 3k a month to pay the bills. People today barely have 300-600 to spend freely LOL. I can do it al with my 730$ 7900x or just as well as an RX570 8GB. If you’re not a full time pro don’t spend more than 300$. It’s not worth it because you won’t ever see that return if you’re just an amateur. 98% we all are.
:| bro somehow get the a380 and make a review. :( u can do it bro but we can't also make a cyberpunk and blender benchmark on a380.
Man.... this is like an improvised video, and you know it... do you really know about GPUs ? tell us the truth, you know ? some of us know a little and we know you didn't talked about VRAM (the very first priority), drivers, VRM quality, overclocking (obviously OC models are better prepared to long working sessions due to its better components), memory speed, fans noise, heat (cause SSD is next to the GPU pci-e port and it gets overheat and this is a common problem for video creators)... man i'm not exagerating, it's a cool video but kind of improvising common sense sounding comments to me...
Please make video on 27 inc monitor.. 😍
You are Just suggesting but not straight forward to focus on quality build....!!
Suggestions:
Include all components Sir to build the system. (Make video like this)
For me it is not the video editing performance that I bought my 3080TI for, but the gaming with high frame rates and pretty pictures. The video editing is a nice bonus though
A big mistake would be buying an AMD graphics card.
please stop that music
