Thank you for this video, I like this type of all surpass knife and I really like CPM 3V steel.

    Good knife and steel!

The Böker Bronco looks like an exact 20mm shorter version of the Benchmade Leuku: same height, same thickness blade, same 3V, same lack of handguard, etc. Despite the otherwise not exposed pommel, I then prefer 20mm extra blade.

This knife looks very interesting indeed, the tables with the technical data are helpful.
Nevertheless, the Bronco and the Venture do not run in the same price league as the Bronco costs 3 times more than the Venture (170 versus 60 EUR).
Thank you for your always excellent videos!

Thanks. The Bronco can be found at 132 dollars, if we deduct the price of the excellent firesteel (16 dollars), that puts it at the price of the Venture Pro (119 dollars). The comparison is valid with the Venture pro if we find the Bronco at its best price.

You are jumping through hoops to try to make a point, deducing the price of a firesteel for the Bronco to almost come down to the price of the Venture Pro… which also comes with a firesteel and other extras the Bronco does not provide. Simply put, the Venture is half the price of the Bronco. The Venture Pro is cheaper than the Bronco and comes with more hardware.

@@Feierabend666 It's an AI generated response, just like the narration for this video... The handle on this knife is too narrow and slim. I've also read/seen people reporting the heat treat is not good (negating the toughness benefits of using 3v). I would recommend you look elsewhere.

Amazing details.nice video.but thisbis my question...now in this moment..is any knife better than Bronco at same amount of money and to be as universal as bronco is?

Nice knife. But price point is a deal breaker. Too many other great knives out there for half the price or less. High grade steel bragging rights is all well and good, but a knife is valued as a simple tool. I can buy 10 Moras for the money.

Który nóż wybrałabyś pod względem ostrości, wytrzymałości i jakości wykonania, Boker Bronco czy Victorinox Venture Pro ?

    • @forzaknife
      @forzaknife  ปีที่แล้ว +2

Any knife that would be considered “universal” needs such a robust blade and body thickness to be virtually (and right close to literally) indestructible and MUST POSESS tactical capabilities.
The Boker Bronco is too thin to be called virtually indestructible, and since it has no substantial guard, it cannot be truly reliable in a tactical situation.
It seems it would be closer to a “bushcraft” blade, and if it were trying for that title, I would say it rivals just about any other bushcraft knife out there.
    But universal? Sorry, no.

The Scout version of Cold Steel's 4-Max Scout is pretty solid, as is the SR-1 Lite.
They're folders, but the Tri-Ad lock is pretty damn strong.
