I was skeptical about the force. It took my local shop a long while to get one in. I was surprised at how soft it shot out of the box. At first holding it I was thinking oh its heavy. I'm still not happy about the efficient of the force. The more I shot the force. I started to understand why its not the lightest, and most effective on paint. It shot ball on ball consistently. I've bought newer lighter guns out of the box that you had to shoot 5 cases through it to get it to break in. Call me old but I expect it to work out of the box consistently. Especially when your dropping the money. I'd say spend more time with the force before making an ultimate decision.
I would say that the Force requires less maintenance and is more reliable than the Shocker AMP. Alex Fraige was saying they explicitly chose reliability over ease of maintenance in some cases.
You can fully disassemble the bolt by using an allen key on the back and a rubber jar gripper on the front of the bolt by hand. No need for a vice grip unless you have horribly over-tightened the bolt. This has been the same general disassembly method that all of the Marqs have had and I am not really sure why they even mention using a vice grip as an option.
To my knowledge, the Acculock "lite" kit has nothing to do with the weight. The Acculock kit comes with a carbon style zipper case, all inserts, and barrel. The Lite kit comes with a neoprene case, .683 and .691 inserts and the barrel. They are using "Lite" as a term to differentiate the full version of the barrel kit to a minimalistic version of the barrel kit.... Vice grips aren't needed for bolt maintenance, either. Just for some clarity!
Force wins in reliability, trigger, ball handling, asa and shot quality in my opinion. Amp wins in ease of maintenance, option for mech frame, weight and front grip (slightly)
Wait how can force win in asa tho 🤔 the amp output pressure is around 110 psi which makes it the second lowest operating pressure gun on the market next to the lux tm40 and last time I checked field one force is @160psi 😬 but honestly if the F1 was even at least 1,000 I would get one but I'm only commenting so they learn to start talking about the actual psi each gun uses to fire the bolt. 👌🏽
@@freeyourwill6458 ya I agree with you the F1 would be an A+ if it was only between 1000-1200 dollars, it’s kind of over priced for what you get. Definitely one of the softest on paint though
Great review but you forgot to mention that the Force can use a rechargeable battery or an alkaline battery. I also have not been able to hold or shoot a Force yet but I did play with the Amp. My only complaint would be the front grip is too thin. It did feel better than the GeoIV I held the same day though.
I have an amp and it’s one of those purchases that made me wish I should’ve waited coz it’s had issues..at least I get use the freak barrel on my other guns
180r and 170r have too many good things going for it. I want a shocker era....but tooless battery removal and eye covers are very convincing. But i agree, why is the force 1500 when it doesn't have the same modern things the 180r does?
i own a shocker and a couple guys on my team own force ones. i love my shocker it is a amazing marker shoots great easy to work on and service. at first i thought the force was cool but then they started having problems and i realized its just a bob long, shoots great but us unreliable and expensive for what your getting and doesn't have the features you'd expect for 1500.00
you missed the most important features of the force bro!!!! The point of the nucleus engine was reliability and endurance... its a bolt system that will not go down on the player.... there's agood reason why dynasty put this new concept to the grind on the field for a year before releasing it. They didnt just see good results in the lab so to speak and throw it into production, they tested this bolt and made changes as they went along during the season it was in testing until they had the upmost player friendly and reliable system for the tournament player. It is a bulletproof design...... the amp has already had alot of people complaining about many different problems since it's release, but very few had complaints about the force to this day......
And? Weren’t all of the boblong guns made in the US? Just because it isn’t made in the US, it doesn’t take away from the integrity of the market itself.
Not sure what your smoking but Dye, SP, and Luxe are all American companies and they all manufacture in the US. Maybe they might get some of their soft goods elsewhere like O-rings, or plastic grips.
Yes, Bob Long markers were made in the USA, also. But, Bob Long sold to Eric Crandall and others at Field One. The Acculock barrels are made in Taiwan when I asked. But the guns themselves are made in USA. I'm not saying anything about quality, although I do believe the Force is machined to a higher quality than the Shocker AMP. I'm saying that when you support and buy USA made products, you support the American economy much more. Importing products generally makes less high paying jobs in the USA and basically only the top brass of companies who outsource overseas benefit from increased profitability. And Dye paintball markers are made in Taiwan for a long time. They do primarily aerospace products at their machine shop in the USA. SP/DLX is now made in Hong Kong. You can ask these companies directly if you doubt me.
@@chillstep4life dude, their machining is done in Taiwan. Dye does machining in the usa for military, medical machines, etc. but not their paintball guns.
The reason why the bolt is like that is because it's perfect and you don't need to do anything to it. The Dynasty guys said they shot 800,000 paintballs through the gun without having to change one of those c cup orings. Just because a gun is more easy to service does not make it better, it means that your going to have to service it a lot. The force is built they way it is because you won't ever have to service it, maybe 1 time in a year.

Boycott SP, buy a Gtek 170R and support the company that developed the technology. The AMPs have been inconsistent, and some are absolute blenders... the Force on the other hand shoots intact paintballs out of its barrel.
People say that but SP literally INVENTED the eyes for guns lol. The Impulse was the first gun with eyes. So why did every company copy them and put eyes on their guns??
Really, The Force is by far a better gun, u focus on issues that are unimportant. Here is what counts: 1) The force does not break paint 2) the Force does not break paint 3) 1 and 2 4) while your cleaning your barrel force users are running down your thoat 4.1) I know players from Dynansty that have shot their practice guns for 40k shots and done nothing to the gun... oh thats right they are the testers 5) toolless is worthless, grips, eye covers really I have a toolless gun but it does not matter as I never clean that stuff during a game... 6) u say the grip is "outdated" really this grip is the best... I shoot real guns as well and guesswhat I would never buy a gun with grip frames like whats on some of the markers including the AMP. there is reason why a 45 grip like on the force is awesome and proven its because u can shoot straight with it .... yep 7) weighing the gun .. ok it weighs 5-6 ounces or so more .... oh my god u know there are so many other factors that account for weight... in the heat of the battle it means almost nothing... plus lighter tanks, reg, use of lit batteries all make a difference... 8) quality sometimes weighs more 9) you say it poppy, really 10) who cares about a box, yet you guys go on and on about unimportant issues you guys really need to get your act togather
Lol no this gun ancient technology… they recycled everything from 5 years of bob long tech… seems like everyone is trying to be loyal to them but I’ll save everyone money by saying this… get yourself a used luxe x or cs2 for a better price for the bang
@@alphazsz I wouldn't get the Luxe X, over the Amp. The amp runs the same bolt system as the Luxe TM40. DLX rushed to realese the x. The amps engine bolt system, is more refined than the X.
The gun tech is old... But that doesn't mean its bad. The way I look at it is... If you break a ball, you're screwed. My goal is to get the most reliable gun that's gentle on paint. You can get the force used for 1k. Seems like the right choice to me. But I also came into paintball at a time when shocker was non existent and Bob Long was killing it.
