So much to be thankful for. So many small things and large things. We are always forgetful in being grateful for everything Allah provided us with. Just the human body alone is an endless provision to be thankful for.

JazakAllahu khair for this series! The part about praising qualities you would like to see more of made me think of praising Allah. Early last year I went on a cross country train ride via Amtrak with family and a friend. We did all sorts that should have made us miss the train...it wasn't on purpose but just happened that way. This train literally waits for no one. It was delayed by like 5-10 minutes for us because Allah is Al Kareem, Al Qadeer. When we all caught our breath and were reflecting on all the details (that we weren't able to process in real time) we were in tears by how Allah navigated things for us individually and as a collective that made everything come together with the precision that only Allah can do. The friend that traveled with us is hardly ever seen crying. We've been friends for ~15 years and I've seen her cry maybe 3 times (as she really dislikes crying in front of anyone) and she was sobbing. The details of how everything came together was literally like a movie. Days and weeks after that amazing things kept happening. I would praise Allah by His Names Al Kareem, Al Qadeer and would keep seeing how Allah was Al Kareem and Al Qadeer with things in my life that felt like movie type stuff (though how we made the train was not topped). At some point though this all fizzled away and I wonder if part of it was that I needed to also be grateful that I could even recognize Allah's perfection and praise Him for it and in that way I would be increased and that would keep me seeing Allah as Al Kareem and Al Qadeer and His other Perfect Names and Attributes in every motion of my life. JazakAllah khair for the reminder to not only be grateful for material things or qualities in others but to also be grateful for spiritual benefits/blessings.
Alhamdulillah for allowing me to learn about His beautiful names and attributes. Subhan Allah My lord is the Most Merciful, the Most appreciative. I am so grateful to be a Muslim. I am so grateful to Allah for allowing me to pray, fast and do all the good deeds. I am so grateful for my family, health, wealth, my physical features, my intellect, my studies, my home, and so much more. Alhamdulillah for the food that we eat. Alhamdulillah for the opportunity to study, to help others, to spread the good. Alhamdulillah for being an Ummati of Prophet Muhammad( Peace be upon him). Alhamdulillah for covering my sins and forgiving them. My lord is Very generous. Alhamdulillah for all the love I receive. Alhamdulillah for all the praises I receive. Indeed, I am nothing , It is Only through my Lord that i able to do good. Whatever i have achieved is by Allah’s Mercy. My success is only through Allah. Alhamdulillah for everything. May Allah increase all of us in goodness.
