Gator Tail Belt and Clutch Removal!

Had on oil leak on this used Gator Tail GTR so needed to remove everything off of the shaft. If you have any questions put them in the comments below and I will get right to them. Thanks for watching!!

When you reassembled the belt, how did you check it for tightness? I am going to have to add some shims to mine and just want to know the best/easiest way to check it. Thanks.

Just the old yank test. It shouldn't move more than a quarter inch when you pull

have you tried changing the pulley by 34 teeth ?

Do you have to drain the oil out?? All I’m trying to do is get the belt back on! Had to replace seals on lower

no not if your just jacking with the belt

Have you ever replaced the oil seal or crankshaft seal under the engine?
I have a little oil leaking under my 37

Just marking exactly where it was before I took it apart. I know it worked at that position so I just marked it just in case it didn't go back in right

Have you had any problems with the clutch’s going out on you and how many hours do you have on it and what all had to be done to it

The clutch only went out on my once due to the red positive wire being cut. Just re wired and it was good. not sure on the hours and i replaced the power head to a bigger hp power head

But no issues with the gtr other then that and how many years have you had it
