I love how Maratha Power was not really a dynastic Rule. After Shahu Maharaj, it was basically managed by Sardars who had the capability & the vision.
Sabaji Patil Shinde Unsung Warrior 🔥
खूप छान प्रयोग आहे. आपला इतिहास जगासमोर सादर करण्याचा आपला संकल्प पर्णत्वास जावो यासाठी आपणास शुभेच्छा🚩

9:08 . Maharaja Surajmal or the Plato of the Jaats was a brilliant diplomat and a great fort builder. Forts like Lohagarh and Deegh are testament to his ability. He is believed to have told Ahmad Shah Abdali the following,"One calling himself the Conqueror of the Delhi Sultanate is picking fights with a Farmer Kingdom. If you capture our forts nothing will happen but if we fail to do so then you will lose all self-respect(Naak kat jayegi)"this is believed to have made Abphmad Shah lift the seige. He may also have been the Pagdhi brother of Jayaji Rao Appaji Shinde(I'm not sure of this claim ). However they did have a good relationship. While besieging one of his forts the son of Malhar Rao Holkar ji Khanderao Holkar(husband of Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar) was sniped by a swivel gun on the fort walls. At the site of the demise of Khanderao Holkar a Chatri was built in his honour by Surajmal ji. Also contrary to claims, I believe Surajmal did send a force of Jats(according to Sadashiv Raos letters) to help the Marathas at Panipat and nursed the retreating Maratha soldiers back to health. One can also read in Jaat sources that Surajmal ji advised Sadashiv Rao ji to send a detachment to attack Peshawar, avoid an open battle and engage the Afghans in the Monsoon(to limit their maneuverability). He had also offered the Marathas to keep their women and Camp followers in his forts as Shivaji Maharaj didn't allow them in the army. However these advises weren't followed. Surajmal ji himself died in a Rohilla ambush after some time.
Maharaja Surajmal pulled back because he wanted the control of Delhi but he had still sent some of his troops to the marathas
Surajmal Jat was one of the good rulers , and even helped Marathas after panipat and had good relationship with them for long time
Even Marathas cooperated and helped him
But Both parties worked in cooperation only in bad times ,in good times they quarreled among themselves
Like rajputs, jats , Sikhs, Marathas
But when someone invaded they stood with each other though not directly due to some issues but indirectly they helped each other
धन्यवाद आप को । बहुत ही शानदार चित्रण व वर्णन के लिए
HUGE THANKS FOR THIS

Great.. 🙏 Jay Shivrai.. Har Har Mahadev . 🚩🙏🚩
Excellent Excellent......
great history depicted.. i wish holkar would have kept his personal relations aside with najib khan and let him be killed as per orders from peshwa to do so..the same najib khan later went on being the biggest reason for maratha defeat and also the reason to call abdali and to manage to bring in shuja ud daula in afgan side..holkar most of the times kept his personal reasons first just like raghunath did before the nation and even fled the battle field with 10000 strong army
Bharich🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

And is it true that Raghunathrao and Malharrao Holkar rebuilt the Golden Temple in 1758 and also did donate 1 lakhs to it.
Partially true they donated around 2 lakhs rs
Awesome. Greate narration , background music and animation. This is the best video I have ever seen on Maratha history.

Did the Marathas ruled Sindh as well?
Jai Hind
Har Har Mahadev 🙏
Very very nice 👌🏻
Sir I’m researching on numismatics related to this period. Just had a query , was sarhind retained by Marathas after winning it or was it handed over to the sikhs.
Abdus samad khan surrendered and joined the marathas so fort remained with him. Overall area was under Alasingh jaat.
@@Historiography so can the coins minted at Sirhind mint considered to be a maratha issue? The coin is of the year 1758-59
Super explanation full detail
Waiting for the part 2

Can you make a video on sabji shinde
Har Har Mahadev
The maps are not up to the mark. Marathas controlled all land to Subarnarekha river in Bengal, the Peshwa's domains expanded till northern Tamil Nadu, even Sindh and Kashmir were subdued in 1758. A campaign was also launched BEYOND Peshawar at the end of 1758. Awadh paid tributes in 1757-58 and Garhwal also requested Peshwa's intervention against a neighboring hill state. Even the British requested the Peshwa's permission to capture the Northern Circars.
🙏
Maps make easier to imagine india of that time .
Treaty was made by ahmad shah Bahadur, u have wrongly mentioned as muhammad shah, check at 3 minutes 53 seconds
Thanks for the note. yes. graphical error.
