First off, so glad you and Mr. Cinnamon are OK after the accident. I was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer in May. I started my chemotherapy treatments in June, and you have no idea how you got me through these treatments with a laugh. Just your calming voice and talking about your life kept my mind off of being scared and thinking the worst. Thank you for putting it out there about yearly colonoscopy/mammograms. That is how I caught my breast cancer in the early stages. Keep doing what you do, and we all love you ❤
So glad you and your husband are okay. I don't have a mammogram story, but once in the ER, a man came in and said "I'm the man who takes the X-rated pictures. I'm the X-ray tech.". Then he laughed at his own joke which made me laugh. Helped to lighten the moment.
Somehow, this video and you made my morning today. Thank you so much for this. I feel bad about car accident, and I am glad you guys are doing alright. I had a restless night with my 7 month old and all I wanted is to knit in the silence and to watch your video. I swear I had a feeling like I listen to an audio book and I could "see" what was happening to you that day. You made me giggle several times and I really appreciate that. Wishing you the best from my heart.
Glad you are ok after the accident. 37 years ago, I went in for my annual physical and mammogram. I am glad I did because there was something abnormal. A biopsy later, I was already Stage 4 Cancer. I am here today because of a preventative exam, and I followed up. Side note - over the years, a secret: take a Tylenol or similar 30 minutes before your mammo. No pain, I swear! :) Teresa
I never feel like you're complaining. I always look at like, "I'm not alone in all the things I'm going through, also." We all have so many things coming at us in life. It's how we react and cope that makes all the difference. Humor is probably my go-to, also. Hang in there, Jen. 🙏 Hoping and praying you get answers soon so you can get cracking! 🥰
Got my coffee, watching video now....I'm glad you are ok....hugs and prayers to you all. Please don't stress over yt videos...we will be here for you! By the way, I get to meet Kayla and Big Daddy in person tomorrow!!! I'm so excited❤
Mammogram hurt. Itty bitty committe member here. I couldn't help but laugh. Hope that you get to feeling better. I felt like I was posing for the price is right showing the prizes in the way they had me stand
Hi Jen, Love how you explained to people about getting mamo, so important. I’m 34 yeas post breast cancer. Early detection is so important. I have heard people say they are afraid to have a mamo. They are afraid of the wrong thing because early detection saves lives. Telling your experience is so funny. Being a bigger lady I laughed with you. You’re such a good story teller. Have a good day and be safe.
it is very nice Jenn explained about it. some people even young girls may have heard of mamograms but have no clue they should know what to expect and it isn't that scary. i know when i was a young married expecting mom i had to go get examined for the first time. it was like i was scared out of my head..a strange doctor looking down there. in the day time, with a light shining down there. i wanted to close my legs up and run home and never see a doctor again. but i realized that was not an option i had to get examined, i can't have a baby at home. now i've seen so many doctors it's like no shame with this old body.
Dear Jen, I'm so glad you made it through, with a smile. I lost my parents, both to cancer, so your encouragement is so important. Especially since our healthcare system is sooooooo broken. I'll pray for your healing. Peace and Blessings 🌻
it makes me nervous just watching these people driving, they are looking everywhere but the road. they are putting on make up, eating their lunch. all sorts of things.. like you say, just drive and watch the road. and leave early enough you don't have to fly past me going 95 because you want to beat the neighbor to his parking spot.
Glad you aren't seriously hurt in the accident. Thank you for sharing your experience of your first mammogram. Your humor is so fun. I was so scared when I had my first mammogram I've had 10 now so I feel like an old hat now. Bigger woman too here so I feel you. But anyways I love your humor!
Jennifer, you are so funny! I am a colon cancer survivor and my mother was a breast cancer survivor. I love the humor you add to the stuff we must go through. I guess they use the incense because of the bo some folks have!😂 I had my first colonoscopy and they found a precancerous polyps which they removed. Next year that area had turned cancerous (Guess they missed a bit) Lost 18 inches. Cancer free for ten years now!!! But still have polyps every time. Very important to do followups.
So glad the accident wasn't worse. Sucks you had to go through all that on the same day, especially after the thing with the semi! I probably wouldn't leave the house for a week. Also, thank you for being so open. I don't really have friends to talk about the "girl stuff". I need people like you! So thanks 😊.
So relieved neither of you got hurt in the wreck, phones are such a danger on the roads! I also want to thank you, you had me laughing out loud as you told the story of your mammogram -- as a 70-something, your story is SO relatable, thank you for starting my morning with a smile. Thank you for being you, your channel is always the bright spot to begin my day. Hope all goes well with that AC!!

I'm glad you are OK after the accident. Your description of the mammogram was pretty accurate. They used to hurt more than they do now, but they are always awkward. They are worth it, though. I had cancer five years ago and am fine now.

Glad to hear the accident was minor! Still such a hassle! Yes, mammograms can hurt when you have very little! The techs trying to get everything into the pic can cause as much pain as the machine! Hope they can help your neck!🙏🙏🙏
Glad you are ok!! I strongly suggest getting a dash cam. I'm so thankful for mine!! Eliminates the lies and helps you keep your sanity since you know what you saw. Have a better day!!

( You bring back great times for me ! ) most days you are in the kitchen cooking supper or doing dishes with me ! Thanks for being the daughter that I have never met but enjoy spending time with !
You continue to amaze me with your depth of compassion, hilarity, joy, empathy……you are a true gift to this community. Don’t EVER stop laughing. Thank you so much for all you give. As an aside, yoga, sitting in a chair, could possibly address your neck issues……have taught yoga for 20+ years…..know some tricks, for an old broad, lol.
Jennifer, I had breast cancer 9 yrs ago, have had a dozen mammograms since then. Thank God I'm all clear! Also I actually came home 6+ yrs ago from work and found my husband life less on the bathroom floor, gave him CPR, he lasted 30 hrs then died. I'm glad you and your family are OK after the car accident, she should have gotten a ticket for being in her phone. Take care!!
I know we mostly think a mammogram is for women exclusively but I was a public health nurse for 22 years and I encountered two men who had to have a mammogram and one of those young men had breast cancer, so as rare as it is men too can have breast cancer, so I find it strange they would say only women are allowed back. Where do they take the guys who need a mammogram??? Just saying. So glad no one was injuryed in the wreck, especially since you were already in pain. Hope everything turns out easily fixable. Love ya Jen and praying for the best ♥God bless, be safe and get well. Oh the results of the guys getting a MXM, the 25 yo had breast cancer and it evenly spread to his bones and he passed. The second guy was negative but they found he had an aortic aneurysm and he evently had surgery to correct the aneurysm and also had to have a heart valve replaced. So ladies it is important to have those preventive procedures.
Mammogram are important. It found pre cancerous areas that I opted to have removed. It later found another one and I had a needle biopsy. It was stage 1 cancer. I had a lumpdectomy and 2 lymphnodes removed. Long story short. I did not need Chemo, but had 30 radiation treatments. Five treatments a week for 6 weeks. I am now on a hormone blocking pill for 5 to 7 yrs. I am Thankful that it was found so early.
I went through the exact same thing, @beverlyfowler! I had a slow growing tumor in my right breast, so needle biopsies were done, then a lumpectomy a week or two later. Then the Surgeon went back in a week or two later, she wanted to be sure that she got it all. Last mammo was clear, praise Jesus! I underwent 6 weeks of radiation, and I take Tamoxifen daily now. I can't believe that it's been five years since I had the surgery. Prayers that you remain cancer free, Beverly!!
I am grateful you both are okay hopefully you can get your neck problems solved every since my daughter died stress if any kind I cry no matter where I am at I hate crying in public 😊
Prayers to you and Mr. cinnamon. I am glad you are both okay from the accident. Thankyou for the shout out for people getting there mamograms and colonoscopies. So important. Thankyou for being you and given me some laughs. 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
So glad yall are ok, I was in a wreck about 6 years ago, a woman was on her phone and hit me and another car without touching her breaks. I broke my back in the wreck but the crazy thing is my car got hit right where my 6 year old son was sitting and he walked away with a cut and a bruise, so thankful for that
I hadn’t heard about your accident. I am so sorry this happened. I am very grateful neither one of you were injured. I wish I had your sense of humor for stressful situations. You are definitely loved.
Thank God you and you’re husband are ok. Thank you for sharing the medical stuff. I struggle with that but you finally got through my thick head. Thank you. God bless you and your family
So happy no one was injured! Your video and a cup of coffee starts my day everyday! Gotta have my cinnamon stitches fix every single morning.... Love you and your family ❤❤❤
Jennifer, you are so loved by us who follow you. We care so much. I hope the police officer believes you over the other lady. I had a lump removed from right breast via a biopsy in 1992 (January). Non invasive. 2 lumps right and breasr removed in 2012. Non invasive again DCIS. Implant and left side reduction. Tamoxifen 7 years.
Hi Jen, I’m so sorry to hear about the accident but I’m really glad that you and your husband are OK. Also sorry about your A/C especially with hot humid weather, I hope you just need some Freon added to it. Mammograms can be painful but I’ve discovered over the years that it depends on who does it and the place you’re having it done at. My very first mammogram was so painful and difficult to stand in the position she wanted me in. But then I changed doctors and hospitals and the next several mammograms were fine no pain at all. This place put these cushions on both sides of the metal plates and the girl was very careful about how much she cinched down on me…plus made sure I wasn’t being pinched anywhere. Well we moved back in Nov.2020 and my first and only mammogram I’ve had since I’ve been here was more painful than my very first mammogram. Well I finally found a great doctor and will be back on track with yearly mammograms again. I’m scheduled to go October 2nd at a different hospital and I’m really hoping that they are gentle because I have fibromyalgia and life just hurts daily without anyone touching me but when I’m hugged or touched it makes me hurt more than the norm. Anyways fingers crossed that this place will be a lot better. As for colonoscopy I’ve never had one I’m 57. I’ve been doing the cologuard because I can’t drink the stuff they give you to clean your system out. When I tried my first time I kept throwing up, my stomach would not keep it down. Well my new doctor informed me that now they have pills that I can take. So in November I will finally be able to get a colonoscopy. I’m happy that I can finally get one because I know how serious colon cancer is. Eight months after I married my husband he told me he was having issues but he wouldn’t make a doctors appointment. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and I found a doctor for him, made him an appointment and then called him at work to inform him he had an appointment so he needed to let his job know that he needed that time off. Well when he went the doctor examined him and informed him right then and there that he had cancer. He said he never felt something that big that wasn’t cancer. So our first 3 yrs of marriage he fought cancer and I took care of him through it all. He beat cancer and he has continued to be cancer free. Let me tell you those three years were hard on both of us, course it was worse for him but it wasn’t easy sitting there next to him while he was going through it. But I would do it again if I had to. Well enough of that. I will keep you in my prayers that your neck pain is an easy fix so you don’t have to take medicine for it. I hope today and tomorrow are much better for you. Hugs 🤗
Be careful about having the same insurance, Jennifer. I had an accident and he had the same insurance company. Even though it was in the police report, his agent tried to put the blame on me. He pulled out in front of me, and I could not stop in time. I’m so sorry about your accident. ❤❤
I laughed when you said that you were praying to not get bad body odor during the mammogram because at my last mammogram the one with bad BO was the lady performing the test, so I had to hold my breath when she was near me, and I was praying “please don’t let that BO stick to me” 🤣
So happy to hear it wasn't anything serious. What would we do without you. Thank you for always being so real and making me laugh. I like listening your your videos when I'm cleaning houses.
You had me cracking up during this video! Also thank you for sharing your particular story - I’m still years away from needing one but it helped to know the process. I am hoping the best for all of these situations.

Yup! We have had 2 and each was close to home. One totaled a new honda odyssey on a small backroad going 20mph! A large pickup turned out of parking lot right into the side of it and totaled it. I got a new Volvo so I was like ok😂

Wishing you all the best and Praying that you get good test results and your neck feels better. Sending hugs 🥰

My mammogram lady asked me about a mole i had on my right twin, wondering how long it had been there. I had never noticed it before, so i went to touch it to see if it hurt, and it turned out to be chocolate from my nervous snack on the way in!!!! I nearly pee'd my pants with laughter and embarrassment 😅😅😅 Blessings to everyone on their journey. Jennifer, you are loved and appreciated and mean more to us than we can ever express. Take care and have a happy day xxxx
Thank you so much for advocating for cancer screenings. They're not fun, but they do save lives. People need to know that you can get breast cancer in your 20s - I know two people who did. They were not believed by their doctors at first, but they were persistent about getting tested, and it saved their lives. I have several friends who have had colon cancer, too. Testing saved their lives as well. My brother-in-law has had skin cancer several times (he's a golfer). We have to be proactive about getting tested for all of it. So thank you for speaking out. I will happily join you in making knitted knockers next month. Praying that your neck xrays turn out as good as possible. I have neck issues too, so I know where you are. Keep us posted about your results. Big Texas hugs.
Love spending time with you too. TH-cam peeps really do feel more like family than my reality fan. Just saying. It makes me not feel so lonely through the day. Take care and Laugh on. And thank you for being so real.

SORRY U GOT IN ACCIDENT HOPE U DIDN'T GET HURT TAKE IT EASY. BE CAREFUL ❤
I'm so sorry, but I'm glad you're ok.
I’m so sorry you were in an accident. How scary! Glad you weren’t hurt. Take care. Things will get better soon. Love ya. 😊🫶🏻🙏🏼

You are loved totally, never think we don't care!❤ Happy you are OK, this too will pass.😊
Hugs 🤗
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear what happened. Sending hugs n prayers and thank goodness you're ok.
So thankful you guys are okay.
Hi Jen, im so glad you are okay from your car accident. I'm sending you prayers and love my beautiful friend ❤❤❤❤

💗glad you got your mammogram, mine saved my life, and im still here 5 yrs later. Thank you for sharing your story, you might just save someone who was too scared 😊
Same here. Mammograms are a little more uncomfortable after breast surgery.
@@RVGrannyWA i had a double mastectomy, no tissue to be concerned with anymore , glad you made it too💗
@RachelCrochets my surgery was on the left side and I've also been cancer free for 5 years. Life throws us curve balls sometimes. Just keep on getting up every day and loving the life we've been given.
Glad you are okay!! Statistics indicate more than 75% of accidents occur less than 10 miles from home. Wild eh??!!
Yup! We have had 2 and each was close to home. One totaled a new honda odyssey on a small backroad going 20mph! A large pickup turned out of parking lot right into the side of it and totaled it. I got a new Volvo so I was like ok😂
Oh my! When it rains it pours!! I laugh under stress as well so I get it.
I AM SO GLAD YOU'RE OK
So glad you are OK and you could laugh at your experiences and God

Love you ❤😊. I have a degenerative spine so I have two places in my neck and my hip spine area. I’ve been without my 1500 mg of pain pill for this problem. I have 33 conditions so any missing meds are horrible. Please pray for me cinnamon buns. Ty 😊

You cracked me up telling about your mammogram. How well I can relate! So glad the wreck caused no more damage than it did. I hope they find out that your neck pain can be treated and relieved. Yeah. We truly care.
Really glad that no one was hurt! So glad the kids were not in the car with you.
You are loved. This community would not be the same without you. Sending prayers for good easy news.
No mammogram story but after one of my surgeries I had an aid who rushed my gurney around like he was in NASCAAR! Mr. Toad's Wild Ride has nothing on this kid!
I love how you describe your mammogram...lol I am little plump too and you seem so comfortable in your skin, I wish I were.
Awesome heartfelt video. Your recent experiences resonated with the one-thing-after-another that one of my daughters has been thru the last few months. Prayers and blessings to you and yours ❤
Jenn I'm glad no one was injured. I hope your day gets better. ❤🤗
I’ve had 44 mammograms in my 56 years…I don’t feel anything anymore, lol. Too many stories to list. 🤭😂
I’m so glad you and Mr. Cinnamon are ok. What a day you had!
You are loved, your family is loved. We care, so much. 💕
Well done Jennifer for getting through and for everything that you have gone through today and all your great crochet. .
Sending 🌷🌻🌻🌷 from Mary xx
I’m so glad you are ok❤
