Ok, I am back! I spent 2 days with doctor appointments and I walked both appointments and everywhere to maneuver!! You know my story about the stroke and losing my crojo and finding it again for rehab!! So this week I was walking again with the walker even though my hubby would rather push me then hover over the chair!
Sandy did such a perfect job on your mermaid! I've been on an amigurumi roll for the past couple of months. You're right, they are a pain in the p'tute, but the grandkids and grand nieces and nephews have me wrapped around their little pinkies and they know it! ❤😂

I am a 79 year old lady and I have many health issues now and they have affected my ability to knit and crochet. Last year I crocheted your Bumpy Pumpkin. I love it! It's not exactly like yours, because there are mistakes but I gave it my best at the time. I love your family and I absolutely love the fact that you are home schooling Little Man. My youngest daughter is a school teacher and worked with Special Needs children for almost 20 years as an Ed Tech. The school needed a math teacher for the high school and asked her if she would take the position. This was 2019 at the beginning of Covid. She didn't want to do it because she didn't want to leave her job as an Ed Thech and the kids that she had come to love. Her only child just started Technical School and she really needed the increase in salary. I just want you to know that there actually are some schools that actually have caring, compassionate teachers. She would have adopted every one of them. Her son went all 12 years at the same school and the entire enrollment call her "Mama Hardy" . I don't mean to ramble on but I wanted you to know that. I think Little Man is amazing.

If you saw the southern part of Idaho, you saw high mountain desert and sagebrush but pine tree forests and mountains are only an hour away from me and Boise is the city of trees all along the river and the whole area area actually has planted trees.
