Pretty much every song has ghost notes in it. Tomas says it makes it easier to keep the backbeat on the snare and quarters on the cymbals to line up

they shave 1 16th note off the 4th rep of the "it gets tricky here" part. off the 1st grouping of bass drums. you have to learn the entire 4th rep separately. diabolical.
