Niiice video brotha. i have the HXW RAPTOR. MXL RAPTOR. I just now noticed it is actually cheaper to get from tackle direct or J@H tackle. Rather then you local shops. These things are already expensive. Better off trying to save some money somewhere. But love these reels. I run all my reels on 10ft m/h rods
I bought my cheaper too. On my video I was just saying it's closer to my place. So if anything goes wrong I can just take to Avets factory cause is just down the street
Great collection I’m a Avet fan as well can you update this video and tell us what line capacity for each reel and what rods your using for each reel. Thanks wishing you peace and many blessings Salute
Nice to see the actual size difference between the Mx and Sx. Could use the Sx inland to kill bass and such. I have an Mxl raptor. Wish I would have seen the Sx raptor before buying my other reels. Raptors all the way. Thanks for the video.
That all depends on what type of MXJ. MXJ regular meaning it's only got like 17 max drag. You can go and put 50 lbs braid. For MXJ Raptor. You can go 65 lbs braid cause it's got 31 max drag or you can also put 50 lbs braids.. That's a lot of drag for little reels
Ronaldo Cruz looking at the raptor because I wanna do a 1 day also but don't wanna have multiple setups. Was thinking maybe putting 60lb Jerry Brown and fishing 30-50 topshots. If you happen to know how much line I can get with the Jerry Brown hollow thatd be nice. Think this will work?
yeah Yellowtail and tuna. Tuna would be end goal but at this moment im content with trying to get yellowtail. Can always carry 20lb wind on leaders also.
i think you have the wrong idea of the max drag on those or any lever drag reels, the proper way is to set the drag a 3rd of the top shop you will be using , for example if you have 50lb braid as backing and top shot of 20lb leader you will be setting the drag a 3rd of the 20lb , not the max drag of the reel...
All I I'm saying each of the reels have max drag of 50 or 38 and so on!! I didn't say that I set the drag to the max to reel fish in. Its capable up to 50lbs max of drags or 38lbs max drags depending on the model avet reels I have. Any guys knows to set their drag depending on top shot. So please don't assume that I set all my reels to the max drags!

Thanks for the video.
Of course bro. You use the sx to kill some bass and some. The sx raptor max drag are 26. That's some serious drag for a small reel
Ronaldo con su mayor respeto hablas español ando loco para comprar los avet pero no confío en Amazon
For your MXJ what lb line do you fish with it? The reason im asking is I would like to purchase one reel for 1/2day to maybe full day. Thanks
fishing out of southern california.

Cee Ess you said you're going to put 30 to 50 top shot. What are trying catch. Yellowtail, tuna? Sometimes fish are line shy. That's why I'm asking
