EASIEST Steering Wheel Reset/Centering -

10 Steps! If your steering wheel isn't centered as you drive down the road, BUT the car tracks straight... a quick steering wheel reset might be your easiest fix.

This is NOT the correct way to center the wheel the steering shaft has a mark to line up the steering wheel you center the wheel by adjusting linkage underneath

I don't want to be contrary but the reason auto repair manuals always say disconnect the negative battery terminal is because if you disconnect negative first you aren't as likely to spark your wrench against something. Still a good idea to always disconnect the battery anytime you start a repair. There is a good reason why auto manuals always say disconnect negative battery terminal.

@@BarryTsGarage this is something I have noticed over the years of working on various equipment and vehicles but nobody really seems to discuss. At least if nothing else it will save the chrome on your wrench. Also I'm assuming you would do the positive terminal first on an old fashioned positive ground system.
