Cant wait to see the range on ice! How much do your battery packs weigh and what battery chemistry are you using? I remember you were using lipos on the prototype. So cool to see this shed project become a production boat. You guys really found the right boat for your situation out there.
@feedurheadhesaid Have seen u here pretty much since day 1, appreciate your hanging around with us🍻. We're using Molicells in the production pack and it weighs in at 43kg, which for that matter includes a few extra bits n pieces in the same box. Have a great day! /J

and aluminum hydro plain style boat would give you less surface in the water more speed less drag👍👍
Very true! Thanks for hanging about with us, nice to see you here for the ride! /J
Cant wait to see the speed/range tests on ice!
@wearebacteria I'll check and see if Jack will release the speed one now, it's pretty hectic! 😅
Well done you 2 . So interested I am.
Oh and I could not go anywhere in those temps you go boating in. For Me as you know John its 25c plus to do those things.
is it possible to bring along an emergency battery backup? so you don’t get stuck out there.
@terryobright No problem at all./J
curious as to what rpm your prop spins and how is that controlled with the electric motor
Approx 2500rpm @kevinhodge1238 and controlled by ESC.
In Canada. Will you be putting out kits or plans to sell ? My big like is that can use rig summer and winter !!
@thumperoux1528 Yep, will be ready to order very soon!
Well done guys. Battery size in volts and amp hours is? Regards Stephen in Australia.
Gday @s.hutton2100 96V, 50Ah, 4.8kWh, and it works pretty hard! 🍻
I want one
@darrylsdiy62 U need one because they are the most fun thing on earth.😅🍻🍻
Great video but 6 Kilometres is abysmal range luckily not too far to have to row back...
So 10 batteries will get you 60kms @TheTwistedStone 👍
Ten times the weight I sure hope you never run out of power on the ice....@@johndehosson
