Yep! Super fun! We are just as stoked as you are, trust me! It added so much capability to the boat💪 Really transformed it! We have a video coming soon where you can really see it punching above it's *hint* weight *hint*😁 Anyway thanks again for your suggestions, and for watching! Appreciate it🙏 Have good one🍻 //Jack
Hi @Daniel Nicholls! It's a small rig, so steps might be a bit too much, but they would be so good to have! Amp draw is arond 250A at the most, but we try not to gun it too much.....or maybe that's the other way around............ 😂 /John
I added HDPE sheets on my airboat last winter as it was really difficult to get moving on certain weather. Especially when there is a lot of water on ice and then it snows half a meter snow on it. Wrapping sides up is must as whit slick bottom it will not go straight anymore and comes bit dangerous on high speeds as there are quite much big cracks on sea ice.
Hi Petri! Jack here. Yeah, same issue we had over here, water+snow= a hard time getting started... And yeah, the only reason we didn't wrap the sides where due to there not being any wider sheets available in such a short time frame. And for us, getting any sheets on there at all ASAP, became a priority as the snow fell. It isn't really any different from running just the hull though as it would dig in to the snow in a similar manner... But I can only imagine how dangerous it gets, especially if you are constantly dealing with "bad" ice surfaces! Luckily for us, we don't really reach any crazy speeds on our very short commute unless we want to😅 However, we will wrap the sides on the new hull we are getting, so we can get as reckless as we want😁 Thanks for your comment! //Jack
Hi @zachmac! Check out some of the first videos we did, there are some stats on the battery pack, range etc :) Have a great day, hope this helps! /John
Hello from Finland! Are you in Sweden? I am really interested in this kind on power system... can i buy it somewhere? In Finland is airboats that is made in PE 300 (hdpe)plastic. I know one shop where i can buy PE1000( uhmwpe). Have you tested that which one is slipperiest material for this kind of use? When snow is wet and if there is much snow, it will get very difficult to get moving. And also problem is when there is water under the snow and also cold weather, the snow will stick to PE 300, but i don`t know does it stick to PE 1000?
Hi @Fishermans Friend! Yep, we're two lost souls in Sweden :) We haven't tried the PE1000, because it is very difficult to work with. Apparently PE1000 is more slippery than the PE300, but due to the workability and slippery characteriestic of the 300, we chose it. Hope this helps! /John
I'm impressed, what a great job you did. You deserve a beer or 3
Thanks Sam G! Cheers🍻😁

So much fun! I'm thrilled to see the results worked out so well.

I suggest attaching three lengthwise runners to the bottom of your hull to further reduce drag for ice operation.
Hi @Roy Runyon!
Great suggestion! In the production model, we will have a broad base which rests on runners under the hull.
Regards John
Очень крутая аэролодка! Я сейчас тоже такую изготавливаю!
Спасибо! Это здорово, желаю удачи с вашей задумкой! Какой будет размер корпуса и мощность? Спасибо за просмотр! /Джек
should add a couple of steps near front like a hydroplane to keep front up a bit. whats the amp voltage draw on that motor?

Nice! What's the battery run time? (and battery size?)

What moto you use?
Hi Azian! We've developed our own motor! IT'll be on the website real soon!
