My name is Barry, I'm from Scotland, and I've been in Taiwan for over 9 years (over 10 years if you count total time)! 😆
My Chinese level is practically zero for the time I've spent here, I know words but can't have a conversation.
I completely agree with everything said in the video about the best things about living in Taiwan!
I also agree that traffic is the worst thing! And I agree with Allan about the weather too!
My regret is not trying to learn more Chinese and not starting my Taiwan TH-cam videos sooner!

Britain is a wonderful place with its rich history and culture, captivating architecture, and charming streets. I would try to visit multiple times, but I might never consider living there. The frequent rainfall could potentially make me moldy, much like in Keelung and Taipei.

要確定讓小孩受台灣的教育餒...
我覺得Allen的意思是他當初應該要想一個辦法來同時達到讓兒子能留在台灣和受到好的教育，而這兩點有可能是不衝突的。像是Allen在他自己的頻道有說，這趟讓兒子來台灣，會考慮讓兒子接觸看看台灣當地的教育。但他也知道現在才做這個決定比讓他兒子從小就待在台灣還要困難。因為小朋友中文和文化都不習慣台灣，把他丟到一個當地學校，即便大家都對他很友善，但他要融入的門檻很高，而這對一個年輕人來說可能會造成很大的壓力和不快樂。所以Allen有提到如果不考慮其他問題，只說要把兒子留在台灣和接受好的教育，他想到的解決辦法是送去國際學校。但他對國際學校的環境還需要了解一下，他也可以想像花費會很高。

我們年輕時候跟女生交往跟現在年輕人的觀念真的差很多，最起碼確立彼此之間的關係會有一段時間，感覺不會很快，畢竟婚姻是一輩子的責任，當然閃婚也是有但是大多數人其實還是蠻傳統的！😂
