1. Yes, you can. 2. You need to join a team. 3. Depends. People are very active on the Discord server. You can join and ask if you can join somebody's else team.
You need to join a team. Most people use OpenVPN to create an ad-hoc connection. You can join our Discord server - there are people who are going to help you :)
DxD is more on the vanilla side, while this mod aims to overhaul the whole experience. Some of the notable features are: EXP share, playable Dark Heroes in story missions, story quest replayability, quest leveling (from old Pata games), relic weapons that basically add unique abilities to the game, 8-player co-op, and much, much more.
Patapon 3 Overhaul has many awesome features, including quest replayability, ultimate farming, stews, a new type of equipment, and much more. Not to mention a very active community, so finding someone to play with is not a big deal.

hi I have a question regarding the purple chests, is the obetention rate higher to have the ultimate weapons on patapon overhaul ?

All stews may be active at the same time and last for one quest. But as you can see, I have plenty of them, so no worries about running out.
