Excellent video Andy, a great overview of some really handy features to help users make the most of their software and creating an efficient workflow at the same time!
I really appreciate the Vectric feature break down! I would definitely be interested in you redoing one of your older project videos that you used Carbide Create on and show how you would do it in Vectric.
@AndyBirdBuilds, thank you for your always informative videos. I would like to remind newbies and experienced woodworkers/designer alike that you don't have to have an specific program or equipment to accomplish your projects. Some programs or equipment just make it easier.
Nice. I have to try something else. I'm currently using the free version of fusion360 to export gcode and my home made CNC is 10ft long so when I'm cutting a big part it jumps back and forth and let me tell you, moving the head 10ft at it's locked slow speed takes like 20min to get from one end to the other just to make a cut, then move back to the other side. Ugh. I'm still learning.
Ok, can we first start with ... What's a vector? So i can select it with a vector selector if i had one. I really need to watch a newbie beginner video.
Good video if you have 2 grand to spend on the software you are suggesting/selling. As someone just starting out by building a CNC this still has some good nuggets to think about tho.
I never owned a CNC before I bought my onefinity. I was iffy about the price of Vcarve Pro. The nesting feature in Vcarve Pro Made me NEVER question the value of Vcarve. the nesting feature will save you so much lumber =$$$$ saved

You bet, great to hear!
Hey Andy, so the shapeoko ( it just arrived) won't do this with the Carbide 3D software?

@vectric has you covered. Head to their TH-cam channel and check out their huge video library 😀
dramatic intro but i loved it!
I personally use Alphacam, the nesting and 3d machining cannot be matched. But it comes at a price!
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for watching! None of the features I shared do you need to have Aspire. There are less expensive options available.
@@AndyBirdBuilds like which ones?

Lol, so dramatic, I love it!

Yes! I 100% agree. Thanks for sharing
Such clickbait title! Still gonna watch it though, as always 😛
Thanks for watching!
Mac user with a cnc has entered the chat..
Same
Bree Larson Captain Marvel or Comic version?
Ha! :)
Precision and repeatability, albeit not unique to cnc. Sometimes another process is more efficiënt, like casting or 3dprinting complex parts.
Good point
@@AndyBirdBuilds Thanks for posting a fun video :)
@@disklamer You're welcome!
Normally find your viseos helpful but this just seemed like a Vetric commercial?
I use Vectric almost every day. I believe it's the best cnc software. Other people that use Vectric have found this helpful. Thanks for watching
