It's great. When folks were wondering who the next gen Shonen MCs would be after the big 3, it's safe to say these 2 take up the mantle very well! Okarun has balls (even when they're stolen lmao), and Momo has some of the best female protag writing in shonen so far. Both have very realistic reactions and stay true to their nature: Momo being a cute gyaru and Okarun being a hardcore nerd.
Something I love about the manga is that their moments just hanging out are so nice, like genuine friendship moments Extremely minor spoiler: My favorite moment is the tradition at the end of every arc where the whole crew, including new friends they may have made, just sit down and eat together whatever food grandma cooked
Momo’s VA voice acted Takina in Lycoris Recoil too. And the famous game developers Hideo Kojima is one of her fans (He loves Lycoris so much that he finds her to do voice acting for Death Stranding 2)
