I really hope they add an alternate way to get the car in the challenges tab. Something nice like some of the other cars that came out, like "finish 10 online gt class races". Anything to avoid that career shenanigans
I have a simple answer to your question. This car is a reward. I notice several aspects of having to wait to get the reward. 1. player activity. With quests unlocking every week, players have to come back to the game regularly. Let's assume that there is no time barrier. A player does all the tasks on the first day, gets a car. What is he supposed to do for the rest of the month? He is left with just driving without any challenges (Of course there are weekly tasks, but when a player doesn't have to enter the game that week, he will lose the motivation to do the weekly tasks). For most players this would get boring very quickly. Just remember how players complained about FM7 and FH where at every turn players got another free car. If a player has to come back regularly, then they have some goals. This week I need to drive a few races, next week a few more and so on. 2 Reward value. If you could unlock a prize on the first day, then that prize would lose value. Players have the perception that the reward is worth more because they have had to spend several weeks to get it. In reality, you have to run the same number of races, but it is the time that makes the difference. I see the logic in that. Both for the players and for the developers. The players have a reward and goals till the next update, and the developers maintain interest in the game and traffic on the servers throughout the month.
Artificially boosting player activity over the course of the month by forcing people to play the most boring career mode of any game I've ever played is not rewarding for me as a player. I'm not interested in doing little side quests in career mode against a horrible AI that doesn't know how to drive. I've already lost interest in unlocking the car because this is how they're doing it. So now I'll just wait three weeks, spend a couple hours unlocking it with my game on auto-drive once it's available, and then move on.
Well, finally another modern GT3 (not that modern since there should be an Evo one like with the AMG GT3, but still counts),not a fan of the "Beaver Teeth" BMW's, but welcome aboard,M4. And the LMDh.. Forza is probably one of the few games (aside of IRacing and LeMans Ultimate) with a growing rouster of Hypercars and that's awesome,not much else to add, just wish the Lamborghini will be added too.
Haven’t driven the M4 GT3 yet, but LOVE the M V8 Hybrid Hypercar. It handles like it’s on rails with stock tune even They should have made this the unlock for the Open Class series instead. I hate how they lock the new GT cars for a whole month basically.

Free play, advanced race, select Forza GT as your class. Start the race and then quit back to the event menu. Then edit the event to only allow the specific car you want to drive, it should show up in the event settings menu. Save and the game will force change you to the locked car.
The sound of the m4 is off… not as raspy, it’s a really refined sound on track The Hypercar sounds pretty good I’ve seen them at Sebring in person and compared the videos I took to your gameplay 🤓
Agree. I live near Road Atlanta and they don't have any higher pitch whine/rasp. Actually a little underwhelming at a distance because the low sound doesn't carry as far, but really cool as you get closer to the track.
I don't have these cars. The GT3 is will be the showcase car, and the hypercar is nowhere. Probably is because I just have VIP membership and not Car Pass?

Nope happy we get this hyper car first there’s only two real hyper cars in the game, there’s like 25 GT cars

That car sounds terrible. It's a brand new car, and they didn't even record the exterior or interior sound. This car sounds so good in real life.
