Bug Workaround: How To Sell Gems in Star Citizen 3.24 Bug Workaround th-cam.com/video/-L9GMS05iQY/w-d-xo.html Big thank you to @bekradan458 for the help
I have a work around that works! When you take the gems out of the box transfer it back to the elevator. That then splits the bundle into individual gems. So in your case 1000 of the little darlings. This may take a few minutes to do so don't worry if it takes time. Then immediately transfer them back down and use select all and transsfer back to the warehouse. Then back to the admin center and it allows you to sell all of them in one go. Did it yesterday as discovered the trick by accident.
i usely transfer stuff(not gems but gear) out of box from those personal inventory kiosk after put box down in elevator. but i don't know wich one is easier bc haven't try that method yet. but just want to throw it out. if it's make it easier or something. i fear so bad with those freight elevator. stuff disappear all the time.
I ended up just parking the Roc on the cargo elevator and then dropping all the gems straight from the roc onto the cargo elevator. Drive the roc off the elevator, leave the pile of gems on the cargo elevator floor, and then lower the elevator. Then, you can sell it up at commodities. No need for a box at all.
the Pembroke is a under suit, that's why you didn't see it in the armor section. if its a full legs and arms with the chest piece it will always be in the under suit section.
A couple things I will add. Stay as far away from mining facilities and landing zones as you can while you are ROC mining. It used the be that pirates could see the "ping" and signature of your ship from up to 20km away (especially at night). Pirates used to hang out at mining facilities and hover above them scanning the area around them. They were looking for miners using the mining facilities to quantum into the surface of the moon or mining in the area. In the old days, you could sell the gems at the mining facilities (I don't know if you still can) so a lot of ROC miners would stay in the areas around them. As soon as you quantum into a LZ do a 180° and fly yourself at least 30km away from it (I usually do 50km). If you own your own ship for hauling the ROC you can stealth it. Exchange all your systems with stealth ones. This will bring down the signature of your ship from pirates being able to see it. This is especially true with the Prospector. Exchange all your components with stealth ones EXCEPT the shields because shields are important to Prospector mining. Just get lower signature normal shields instead (also remove your weapons from the Prospector). On a Prospector I have brought my signature down from a 20km to a 2km radius. Finally, If you go to OM-1 (the North Pole) of a planet/moon, the area below it is always in the sun that way you can always be in daylight while mining.
Nice video! You can skip taking them out of the box entirely if you use the "sub category" option to select the 1 SCU box where you've stored the gems. You can also do this to fill the box when you buy items as well and have them delivered directly into the 1SCU box.
put the hadanite on the elevator then go to the storage access and split it all into single stacks and you can sell all in one go. takes a few minutes but quicker than selling one by one. and if you want to be fancy you can setup some kind of macro or autoclicker to split them all into singles
So yesterday was my first day mining with with the roc-ds, i pulled up to one of the mining stations on abeerden pulled my rock right in front of the door and put 100 gems in my back pack, went into the station to the terminal clicked my name under location and was able to sell 100 at a time
Hey Core. Thanks for the videos. I'm a fan. QUICK QUESTION: Would it not be faster to park the ROC inside the Cutlass so you can transfer from "external" inventory to the "vehicle" inventory of the Cutty? Keep up the good work!
Hello my friend. You are one of my best content creators. Keep up!! I have a question: I am new to mining and i just realized that i cant scan for basic info with my cutty rocks. I dont get results. Is this a server problem? Can you check?
Transaction issues aside; am I losing my grip on reality? (don't answer that 😅) .... I do not remember the ROC fitting that nicely into the back of the Cutlass. I do not remember when i bought mine, used it once, got frustrated, so frustrated that the ROC has been sitting in the 'shed', ever since. Another great video! Keep sharing please! ❤
I love how in star citizen there are so many loops, and gameplay options to make money. But it’s such a shame that some are just flat out more lucrative than others meaning the other loops are pretty much redundant. I’d love to be able to salvage, then go mining and be looking at similar money but hey ho
I think in the PTU they just nerfed panel salvage so it will bring things a little bit more in line but then there is still drugs but that's risky with getting a crime stat so valid.
I took my cargo box off my ship put it on the cargo pad, sent it to the warehouse, got the train all the way to admin office and it didn't register my cargo box, had to run all the way back to the hanger and empty the box into my bag and do 2 runs to the admin office to sell them in singles, there has to be a better way surely? loving the game but stupid bugs like this are game breaking, maybe post the link to the council issue report and pin it so we can all upvote it as it doesn't get looked at unless 7 people have the same issue, quicker we get these issues ironed out the better.
I been making videos for 10 years. It got a little better but it's in my blood. I even tried reading English every night before bed out loud, it stayed
@@TheCoreGameplay I was lucky. I was born Afrikaans but got into an English school very early on and nos my Afrikaans is terrible but my English is perfect
This game is killing all ways of making money, so we have to buy ships with real money! I played every day, I'm completely discouraged with the game, I play at most one night a week, and with these physical updates I have to stop playing.
And now there will be no hotfixes coming to live until the ATLAS is ready for the Pledge Store. In this case I hate CIG so much. All the new PTU Builds are focused on the new stupid vehicle.
You can still make plenty of money. I made reset just for the heck of it a week ago and made about 20 Million aUEC by now and I‘ve restricted myself to just use my Cutter from my own ships until I‘ve earned my first Million. Started with a few Box deliveries, did a few Monitor missions until I could afford to rent a Prospector plus some extra Cash for refining, mined about 600k worth of aUEC in ore one night and got invited to join a Reclamer Crew. That netted me over 800k and I‘ve bought my own Vulture with that money.
@@finnm.2582 Making plenty of money for the sake of it.........waste of time and effort, yet if its to just fund playing your loops, and not just Grinding for Greed. or bring a Loot Glutton, the n go for it. Grinding just to have a fleet of ships you'll never fly is pointless......some actually do the Grind Monkey treadmill after every patch. Good times

I'm hearing it's fixed in the PTU 3.24.1. Can you confirm on that one?
@@MrSlvr2000 don't know yet

Hope they fix selling gems soon!

I found a bug workaround at least :)
@@TheCoreGameplay - Selling one at a time?? 'C'mon, man!!" 🤣

@@GRGHQ no you can sell the full stack. I made a little update video today, to show how to do it :)

Where else can you mine with the Roc besides aberdeen?

Vehicle inventories has been removed in patch 3.24 unless you're talking about my little box I had on my ship.
ROC fits in a Nomad too, but a crate is tricky to fit, though it can be behind or in front of it
Gems are truly, truly, truly outrageous
Taric
Ariel has a lot of ROC minable in 3.24 also.

Love your videos mate, take my sub. What specs are you running? Your game looks so smooth
Thank you, here is my pc:
GPU: XFX Radeon RX 6800 XT Speedster MERC319
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core 3.7 GHz
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z NEO Series 32GB DDR4-3600MHz
It must be a feature. they want you to physically bring one crystal at a time to the seller x) For immersion of course.
You're paying with your soul

It did fit rather smoothly maybe they fixed something with the wheels but it was oddly smooth
They should pay you for testing the game
The Issue Council bug report for this problem now has over 1,000 reports ...
Still not fixed . 😂 💀
I actually went to report after this video and was like wow
13:40 ~> they need to make mining that easy 😅
I got a special laser called editing lol
this video was very satisying to watch
Thank you
You mean the new 3.24.1 PTU patch, the patch with new the box lifter?
This is live 3.24, will take a look at the new PTU soon hopefully
The whole selling commodities thing is broken, everything is giving errors for me!
same or stuck on loading conent when selling gg cig

Mining and salvage are pretty equally lucrative. You just need to know what to mine for.
Who needs money? Just do what you enjoy doing.

There's a bug workaround I didn't know about at least
cant even claim my ROC, bought i plage store

Well for starters, why are you selling at an admin office? You sell gems at mining outposts.
You can't sell at mining outpost anymore
