  • Quick and simple macro photography tutorial you can try yourself at home. I will show you how to capture psychedelic images withwater and soap. Using water, dish soap, a tripod, a bright light, a glass and a macro lens you can take colorful images by yourself. I am working on a second part focussing on quite similar images taken with a flash getting even greater and sharper results.

I find it fascinating how our brains pick up patterns that drive us to a much larger scale. I can't help it to link this phenomenon with what we observe in Jupiter's atmosphere. Why can't we?

Some of those "eyeball" shapes you see in the flat shots are very reminiscent of "the eyes" some people describe seeing in psychedelic trips. The colors are all spot on for what you see while tripping as well. This is a much more relaxed appearance though, psychedelic colors and patterns can be incredibly "invasive" for lack of a better word.

I have been trying this for a few weeks and photos are easier to eliminate reflections than when shooting a vid. very evident from 6.36 onward. I have large diffuser about 6 inches above the bubble. This makes things a little trickier to get in with camera but it works. I found the constant reflections not acceptable. Loving your vids., we are all learning new things.
