I have this product. I rolled tubes, power cables, USB cables, and even fuses. The only noticeable improvement was the Audioquest Carbon USB cable. Save your tube money, the stock tubes sound great IMO.

I just ordered the TA-22, there is currently a sale on. I do have some Mullard and I think Slavinia or something, I got them for my Yaqin phono stage, so will try rolling them
@@shahidyt I have the Tung-Sol tubes. They sound so clean and almost "solid state". The stock is less clean but has a little more tube warmth. Enjoy your TA-22.

Already owning the xDuoo XA-10 dac/amp combo, I am guessing the TA-22 sounds more like a sidestep than a step forward for me. As in, simply offering up a different flavour to the sound signature. Or are the differences substantial enough to warrant serious consideration? And a warm welcome back home Sandu!! Cheers!!!
Hi mate, thanks for the kind words. XA-10 sounds similar to TA-22, their tuning is very alike, with the exception that TA-22 sounds a hair wider/deeper. I would keep the XA10 and save the pennies for the upcoming flagship xDuoo amp, which I'm helping them with for about 2 years now.

From someone having reviewed and tested both the Fiio K9 Pro ESS and the xDuoo TA-22 which one would you recommend more? I'm coming and wanting to upgrade from my solid state Fostex HPa4BL with pad modded TH900mk2 and soon a ZMF Atrium :) K9 Pro would be 799€ and TA-22 about 500€ at the moment for me. some worries are, that the TH900s Bass could be overload with Tubes.
@@RealKyuremYes. I don't lie. There is much greater separation, detail, punch and extension. If you dont hear that then stop buying hifi or get your ears checked. I have 8 different sets of 12AU7 tubes and they all sound different. The stock tubes are the worst sounding tubes I have dealt with

Don't have any 12AU7 tubes around, sorry, only the stock ones. That's the EverSolo DMP-A6, probably the best streamer and DAC you can have right now at an affordable price.

The TA22 added to my TA30 is incredible. I’ve added Sophia Electric Aqua to my TA30 and the rest of the tubes are Shuguang Black Treasures. I’ve switch all my cables from silver plated copper to pure silver. Added Furutech Liquid Nano and Furutech NCF throughout the electrical system.

was looking to upgrade from a fiio k5 pro and saw the DX3+ Pro and this. Do you think the price scales well and is worth buying this over the DX3+ Pro? I don't mind spending a bit more if it'll matter but both seem compelling
@@RealKyurem ended up buying both but the TA-22 is definitely way bigger and you have to deal with the annoyance of having the tubes warm up and just be warm which is kind of annoying in the summer. I didn't bother with an A/B test though and figured it would be fun to play around with so I just gave the other one to a friend. At least they were on sale at the time

My favourite amp. Dac is great but the amp is superb. Highly recommend Genalex Gold Lion, Psvane Art Series, NOS Philips, NOS General Electric.

Well, it adequately drives the Susvara and I'm not always at 100% power and since HE6SE is exactly as power-hungry, it should get the job done
