As much as I praise this album nonstop since the release, I also want to give the video editor a huge shout out, cause I know editing is a lot of work and THIS editing is brilliant and a Hell lot a work! Chapeau! (or "Well done!" in Idles Speech)
The director Will Dohrn was also the editor on this one :) It's just been nominated in the 2020 UK Music Video Awards for Best Edit!
Agreed. The song to me is 3/5 (so enjoyable, but not the greatest), but the music video was brilliant. 10/10

Check out Daughters, Deaf Club, METZ, and if you’re into the weird experimental punk Prissy Whip are as left field as it gets. I’m 41, and am also glad to see a resurgence of actual authentic quality punk.
Hot Snakes (Drive Like Jehu guys) and Survival Knife (Unwound guys 2016-2019 band) are surprisingly good too.

Oz has a boomin punk scene, although not pop worthy at all so harder to come by. The Chats are hilarious, Amyl and the Sniffers got summin' and a bunch of others check Pissfart records too, dunno if their still goin but they'll lead you to others.

to be honest, I thought they reached their peak with Joy and were on their way down now. I'm so fucking happy Ultra Mono turned out to be this good.

I mean BF1 has a heavy dose of anti war (campaigns, those tearjerking voice overs and ambience) DICE is not shy to express some heavy political stuff too, sometimes to tgeir own detriment (bfv)
Makes sense. Battlefield is main competitor with CoD. BF always thought of itself as the realistic approach war in a videogame. They must have grown tired of it, and the this song for BF Portal makes sense, the mode takes all reality and seriousness out of the genre, there is a hidden message here...
