She actually competes with women of all levels. Recently in ADCC trials she fought high level competitors including black belts. I think this was a decent match for Helena. She had to keep working the whole time hunting for a sub . I felt she was working something specific?? 🤔
Lol oh no let's not start deducting points for not finishing subs 😅 that would make the game wayyy to difficult lol..Helena won via dead orchard which is both arms in triangle . But either way a great match to watch! I love watching both these ladies 😊
@@jiujitsusisterhood Yeah the Refs would really hate to have to keep up with deducting points for not finishing subs, haha, or, as I've joked before, awarding points for escaping submission holds, haha When did Helena win via Dead Orchard? Not this fight... I saw a match in which a young girl subbed her opponent with a mounted Dead Orchard - her opponent got to her knees and amazingly even got north-south position on top! but the pressure was too much for her and she tapped. If you want to see that fight look up "Liliana Ramos vs Mandy Gavares Good Fight BJJ Tournament of Champions 10/24/20" on the Good Fight BJJ channel.
As a sport im fine with it As a martial art i have issue with the tactic of pulling guard in an actual fight crevar would hammered by judoka or catch wrestler I like her as an athlete and a very good person But she should also study judo greco and catch wrestling
@@jiujitsusisterhood that is a very thoughtful resppnse i hope when she gets older she takes charge of her career and questions her advice from instructor coach
8:25 it's the second fight where I see Crevar not being able to finish a toe hold, due to poor technique. Why aren't they teaching her to keep the ankle glued to her breastplate? Then with T-Rex arms finishing the toe hold is a breaze.
If you're gonna do commentary you have to make it good or people will rightfully say it's bad.
Very cool to watch this fight! And commentary was excellent, thanks! Crevar has a huge future in this sport :)
Thank you! 🥰

We'll work harder
Don’t mind the hate comments about your commentary! Lots of us love it - calm, clear, funny. Keep up the great work!
Awe so sweeeeet! Thank you ! 🥹 I was a bit sleepy that day too lol I'll try to always do better 🥰
Hi are you going to post the next Medusa event in December?
I should be able to 😊
@jiujitsusisterhood Great, I'm a big fan of all Eddie Bravo shows and Medusa always has great fighters. More people need to see it.
@@Macktube Me too! I'll definitely try to incorporate their events
Great No-Gi Grappling Match Ladies!
Congratulations Helena Crevar!
Spoilers😑
I’ve heard worse commentary, I just can’t remember when.
😅
Facts. I only made it to 2:15 before the cringe was too much.
❤ Ur soft commenting. Tks
When will they give Helena someone at her level?

She started hunting for toe holds near the middle of the match I think@@jiujitsusisterhood
15:20 Helena couldn't lock her mounted triangle - she should have lost points for that failure 😂
How did she win? This was a draw. Great fight!

I'm sure once she starts running into trouble with the guard, she'll expand her skill set where necessary
