Although I am an intermediate salsa dance, I found my Suzy Q very basic. But here I am watching and following your tips and voila after 6 attempts, I am doing fine. Some things I learn during COVID19 lockdown. Thank you sooooo much
Very nice lesson . It is quite hard to follow but with these simple explanations and much practice i am certain will have fun dancing . Nothing is easy , practice is key along with enjoying this . It looks so easy on salsa compilations .
Thank you Perla, I appreciate the excellent feedback, I’m glad you enjoyed our craziness :) How can we help you, as a lady to improve your dance??? What style and dance rhythm do you enjoy dancing more???
Ha ha ha, I'm laughing too. Good start to the video. The only thing is, Suzi-Q dates back to 1920 and it became more famous after 1950 where various artists executed variations of the same thing. Therefore, 100 years later we are still teaching this?
I like the way I the 21:23 minutes how your start dancing is very easy, I’m going to try dancing 💃 with this steps with the girls partner of my job thanks guys. And also the girl 👧 dance 💃 with you she so cute I love her.
Boy was I wrong with u guys. U started out acting silly ,not serious at all. I was about to turn off jor app but for reason I didn't. I m glad I didn't turn u off coz u provided a chuck full of info all fully broke down n explained that a slow poke like me was able to grasped. Thanks a bunch n will continue to look for succeeding videos.
I do agree....all names used in this video are used by instructors all over the world, can you be more specific, mabe give an example of what your talking about, your making things to difficult for yourself.
Hello guys! I'm from Vietnam...You teach very well and easily understands but i don't know how to choose the music for the dance and how to count the beat or match the music accordingly... Please help me for that😃😃 Thank you somuch😍❤
Hey! a very good FREE app that I use to help me with the count is the Salsa Beat Machine! salsabeatmachine.org/ it is really helpful for finding the beat and different instrument in the music I hope you will find it helpful!!
You guys dance really good but I have no idea what the TH-camrs think while putting silly intro being very silly before the video... It doesn't make you look funny or engage the audience... It's silly and only SILLY
@@iteachsalsamarcusbodycodin338 I tried watching your videos, but, is not the same practicing alone, I guess is better practicing with a couple so that even worst for me... 😣
@@iteachsalsamarcusbodycodin338 month, I was taking some salsa lesson in one salsa club here, it was a bit expensive but I wanted to learn salsa, it was maybe few weeks, but this covid-19 stoped my progress... that is really sad 😭
tacubocu, you should link Krambo’s video.... keep in mid these are part of your basic Salsa steps, so of course there may be some similarities, all my content is based on materials I’ve been using for years in my classes, I’m positive Krambo is a great instructor
Hi Tacuboca, I just finished watching video, was really good, but the only real similarities are in the Suzy Q plus, this is the way in many Salsa Congresses (Salsa Dance Conventions) with many professional instructors teach this method to lean the concept. Thanks for sharing 👍 Here is a video that explains the same way th-cam.com/video/lEmUl60disQ/w-d-xo.html
The name is taken from other steps and styles of dance Lindy Hop and Line Dancing, this step is also known as Heel Twist (actually refers to step 2) or Grind Walk. We have adopted and infused other dances into Salsa, Bachata and other Latin rhythms. I hope this helps
